Are you looking for a place where you can linger for hours, talk to strangers or just mind your own business (depending on your mood)? This is the place for you.
Homey yet funky, this place is everything a cafe should be.

Come in and get your tea on! That's their mantra and a great one it is in fact. On a hot and steamy afternoon in Chicago I popped in and discovered a bohemian atmosphere where I could sit back and enjoy my blackberry tea. They also have coffee, snacks and a few select sandiches. Purchase teas and coffees by the pound. Far out!

The Urban Tea Lounge is one of the greatest places in the city. Not only are the owners friendly, and totally laid back, but they have the best tea around. The owners know the tea like back of their hands, so feel free to ask for a reccomendation. The sandwhiches are fresh and the pastries are yummy as well. As for the atmosphere, I could sit there for hours....actually I have many times!
