Attitude IS Everything...

I have never been treated worse than I was at this place EVER.The only thing I dread is that I have to go back and travel 40 minutes there b/c I got a gift. cert!I witnessed the worst snobbery in my entire life.I sat for THREE HOURS to get a manicure and pedicure with French tips and they could not get it right. The recptionist had the nerve to walk up to the tech and say,"You are running out of time on this one. Hurry up"I was livid. He was a piece of work.He treated me as if i were inferior. I was treated rudely, the phrase"As if"t; comes to mind.I walked out with smudged nails and they had the nerve to ask me to pay for it. Most of the workers are uppity, self-loathing yuppies.Niko needs GET OVER IT! Mario Tricocci runs circles around this joint.

best salon ever

I love going to Niko's they have i'd say the best facial service, and have very reasonable prices. I'd most deffenatly recommend Anna...shes the bomb at haircuts and color, also good with highlights....I have been going there for 2 years now and i have no complaints.

Beata is AMAZING!!!

When i moved back from out East, i had no idea where to go for a facial, i happened to walk into Niko one day and made an appoitment with Beata. I have been with her every since. In the last 2 years, my skin has transformed! Her passion for what she does is amazing. She is also a caring and generous person who i consider a friend. They also always offer you a glass of wine, coffee, or water while you wait which is a nice added touch. I highly recommend!! Ask for Beata!

• Pros: top of the line skin equipment, relaxing setting, attentive staff

Ricardo was awesome!!!

I used to go here when Ricardo was a stylist, he left and I haven't been able to find him anywhere!! If anyone knows what salon he went to please email me at giselap@comcast . net

I've tried talking to the people at Niko but they won't tell me where he is. If you know PLEASE tell me, I haven't been able to get a decent haircut!

Nightmare

DO NOT GO HERE! This salon was a nightmare! I went for a Brazillian Wax which I've had done for years and after moving I wanted to try a new place. The lady left me with patches of hair everywhere and refused to get it all, blaming it on me the whole time. I had a coupon which she said was invalid after I had told her about it when I made my appointment. The cost was $65 when the price for a Brazillian was listed for $45. And it took a whole hour! Ridiculous!!!

GREAT SALON! I HIGHLY RECOMEND IT FOR EVERYONE!

I visit and make appointments at various salons to see if they are good and professional, if they have reasonable prices, etc. I've been at Niko Salon about a year ago and it wasn't a bad salon at all but I personally thought it needed some changes. I came back to this salon and I was suprised on how much the salon has accomplished! Right when I arrived at the salon for my appointment, it felt like I was at home. I was offered right away with a glass of wine. I had full service. My haircut and highlights looked amazing! They used a couple of European hair products on my hair and they were so good! The people that work at Niko Salon are very professional and very creative. Also, there is very cheap parking only across the street from the salon!

Beata is wonderful!

I also have followed Beata to this salon. She is very knowledgeable about dermatology/aesthetology and the different treatment options-- she truly tries to find solutions for your specific condition, not just push products/treatments to make commission! She always goes "above and beyond" and the prices are very reasonable.

Fabulous Facials

I go to Niko for Beata. I have followed her all over town. I have adult acne. It's been a problem for years. I am allergic to many of the common treatments. When you book a facial with her, she also gives you a light back, hand, and foot massage. She will talk to you about your skin care regimen - always willing to recommend things that are not expensive. She will work with you to match your budget with making sure that you have great skin. Right now, I am just about to get married and I am completely broke. She is giving me affordable skin care to make sure that I look my best for our big day! She is a considerate and caring person that really loves what she is doing. It shows in her work. I highly recommend her.

• Cons: No Parking, Noisy, Crowded Salon, Can't Charge Tips

Best Salon in Chicago

I have nothing negative to say about this salon. I had frequented various salons when I moved here. Until I found Niko, I was having no luck. My stylist is amazing - ask for John. He is great at with both cuts AND color. He has a great eye and skill - I have never left disappointed. Customer service in the salon is tops. The staff is very attentive, providing customers with drinks and magazines while you wait. They are always pleasant when calling to schedule an appointment and work with your schedule. All services from color to cuts to waxing are reasonably priced. Great location, staff, stylists, and atmosphere. I highly reccomend this salon, specifically John my stylist.
