Bottom line: Good Cut

The bottom line is I got a good haircut. I am a guy. I could care less about vibe, atmosphere, personality of the stylist, etc. I am paying for a good haircut and that is all. Mallory gave me a good hair cut and I was happy. I almost always hate my haircuts and they usually take 7-10 days to grow in to my liking -- but Mallory gave me a haircut that I actually really liked immediately. I am making an appointment with her again tomorrow and going back for a second cut.

Best Salon!!

before going to this salon i never cut my hair, i got it trimmed. i went to Mark and he understood that so he started slow and now after 5 years, i give Mark carte blanche as to what he would like to do with my hair. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair and the color of it. I have referred at least eight people to him and they have all stayed and loved him. He is very blunt about what he likes and dislikes, but his job is to give me a hair cut that looks great and that is what he does. I highly recommend siren salon and Mark!

TEDDY'S THE BEST!!

I always hate every hair cut I get. I dont know why but I've never been happy that is until Teddy cut my hair!! He is the greatest hairstylist in the whole world!! He's so fun and energetic and he made me feel so comfortable!! My hair cut and bangs look amazing!!! Ive never had so many complaints on my hair EVER!!! I highly recommend to go visit Teddy because you will not be disappointed!!! He's the best!!!

best haircut everrr!

I recently went to Teddy to have a very drastic cut. I wanted to cut off most of my hair and he was the best person I could have ever chosen to go to. He talked with me about what I wanted done, why I wanted it done and talked me through the entire process. I have never had a better haircut or stylist...he is the best! I can't even tell you how many compliments I've gotten in the past few days because it is seriously that great of a cut! I highly recommend him and Siren salon. It's such a wonderful environment. I have very thick hair so when I go to the salon I'm usually there for a long time. By the time my cut was done the shop was closing, but no one made me feel like I was a nuisance for keeping them there later than usual. It's a great place!

the best salon ever!

OMG i absolutley think that siren salon is the most fantastic salon in the chicago area. I have been going to mark since i was a baby literally he gave me my first haircut (im 15). The people and the atmosphere is just wonderful to be around. Everyone there is just so friendly ive become good friends with alot of the hair dressers that work there. Siren also gives awesome haircuts and colorings and you dont leave the salon dissapointed. I highly recommend this place!

Great customer service, extremely "salon educated"...

Incredible place! I called yesterday seeing if maybe they would have any openings for that evening and they fit me in at 7pm (almost impossible i've found for places around here to do that)! The atmosphere there is completely comfortable and the stylist/receptionist are all friendly and welcoming. My stylist Dominique (i'm officially hooked) was very confident w/ my hard to style curly/poofy hair and she chopped up the cutest hair cut i've ever had-- knew exactly what i wanted even though i was having a difficult time putting what i wanted into words! I could go on and on as to why this place is the place to go, but I just recommend you check it out for yourself-- and ask for dominique!

long lasting waxing job!

I have been going to Berry to get my waxing done and she dose a great job! ( and the prices are not bad at all!- i used to pay about $10 more at my previous salon) I saturday I'm getting a massage with another staff member, if he is half as attentive as berry it will be great. I am always warmly greeted as soon as i enter the lobby! it feels like a mini vacation every time i go! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

RUINED CHRISTMAS?

seriously? how meaningless is your life that your husband's haircut ruined your christmas?

anywho, i digress. as a salon hopper extrrodonaire, dominique gives the best most precise haircut I have ever gotten. she's a perfectionist. and she's sassy, and i like that.

I loves me some Teddy!

I am an avid reviewer here on citysearch so if you look at all the reviews I have done the majority of them have been on Salons due to my difficulty trying to find one that I like and I can stick with. So I thought I had found THE salon a few months back as I was EXTREMELY happy with the stylist, however, I just found out that she moved so here I am, on the hunt for another stylist. Imagine my relief when i took a shot in the dark and found siren salon. I was reffered to teddy and away he went. I left the salon feeling pretty darn good about myself, and actually willing to go back to have him do it again. My only complaint about my service there was the lady who did my eyebrows. She pulled the wax off way too slow and not only were my eyes red but there are little red dots all over under my brow 24 hours later.

• Cons: not so great eyebrows

Impecable

I have been living in the area a while, an had tryed out multiple salons. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Stephanie has been doing my hair for a while now. I started with her when she was an apprentice. I am a natural burnette an have my hair colored almost platinum blonde. She has never gone wrong. She keeps my hair hydrated, she keeps the color even an always looking natural, my hair never looks over processed. My cut is always perfect never to short but always keeps my split ends away. I think a good stylist should keep your hair looking like it never needs to get done an you can never tell I get it done...she keeps me right were I need to be, great service, everyone is prefessional, I would go no where else.
