Incredible place! I called yesterday seeing if maybe they would have any openings for that evening and they fit me in at 7pm (almost impossible i've found for places around here to do that)! The atmosphere there is completely comfortable and the stylist/receptionist are all friendly and welcoming. My stylist Dominique (i'm officially hooked) was very confident w/ my hard to style curly/poofy hair and she chopped up the cutest hair cut i've ever had-- knew exactly what i wanted even though i was having a difficult time putting what i wanted into words! I could go on and on as to why this place is the place to go, but I just recommend you check it out for yourself-- and ask for dominique!

Pros: Stylists know what they are doing

Cons: no complaints

I have been going to Berry to get my waxing done and she dose a great job! ( and the prices are not bad at all!- i used to pay about $10 more at my previous salon) I saturday I'm getting a massage with another staff member, if he is half as attentive as berry it will be great. I am always warmly greeted as soon as i enter the lobby! it feels like a mini vacation every time i go! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

seriously? how meaningless is your life that your husband's haircut ruined your christmas? anywho, i digress. as a salon hopper extrrodonaire, dominique gives the best most precise haircut I have ever gotten. she's a perfectionist. and she's sassy, and i like that.

Pros: clean, upbeat, nice atmosphere, good music

Cons: lakeview is gross

I am an avid reviewer here on citysearch so if you look at all the reviews I have done the majority of them have been on Salons due to my difficulty trying to find one that I like and I can stick with. So I thought I had found THE salon a few months back as I was EXTREMELY happy with the stylist, however, I just found out that she moved so here I am, on the hunt for another stylist. Imagine my relief when i took a shot in the dark and found siren salon. I was reffered to teddy and away he went. I left the salon feeling pretty darn good about myself, and actually willing to go back to have him do it again. My only complaint about my service there was the lady who did my eyebrows. She pulled the wax off way too slow and not only were my eyes red but there are little red dots all over under my brow 24 hours later.

Pros: great hair

Cons: not so great eyebrows

I have been living in the area a while, an had tryed out multiple salons. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Stephanie has been doing my hair for a while now. I started with her when she was an apprentice. I am a natural burnette an have my hair colored almost platinum blonde. She has never gone wrong. She keeps my hair hydrated, she keeps the color even an always looking natural, my hair never looks over processed. My cut is always perfect never to short but always keeps my split ends away. I think a good stylist should keep your hair looking like it never needs to get done an you can never tell I get it done...she keeps me right were I need to be, great service, everyone is prefessional, I would go no where else.

I've been going to Stephanie for the past 2 years at Siren Salon and I wouldn't go to anyone else. She always knows exactly how to do my hair even when I don't. I have also seen Barry for facials and waxes and she's great as well. They are both very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend going if you haven't already!

Ugh! Never again will I go to this salon! I have seen Stephanie twice, and both times she has given me an absolutely terrible cut. The first time may have been my fault, as I was a bit unsure about what I wanted done, so I gave her "free reign" so to speak. Today, however, I went in with clear and concise directions, and she still delivered a wretched cut... Nothing at all like what I described to her -- either I was speaking a foreign language, or she doesn't listen. Just awful.

This Salon was recommended to me by a friend who also suggested I try out Teddy as a hair stylist. He also provided hair extensions which I have been applying to my hair for around four years. I was so impressed with his other services that I had to try it out. I swear it was the first time I could honestly say I loved my extensions. My hair never looked so natural and luxurious. The quality of hair that they supply at the salon is the best I have ever used and Teddy is consistently keeping up with the new techniques used to put extensions in. No one can even tell that I have them in. Interested in getting extensions? Get them done here.

Pros: Salon has great artists with lots of experience in the modern styles.

Cons: You get what you pay for. Can be expensive.

I really like this salon. Everyone is very friendly and I love my stylist rosalinda!!! She is so sweet, she actually listened to me and gave me suggestions on what color and cut. I have curly hair and I've never had a stylist cut my hair the way I wanted it. It seemed that they were all hesitant to five me a new style. Rosa gave me a trendy cut so it looks nice both straight and curly. I also love my color...and so did every single person!!! Again, everyone is friendly and I've recommended my friends and family to see Rosa. Thanks Rosa!!

Wow, I'm really shocked by the last review. Maybe Mark had an off day, but Mark Katz has always been, and will continue to be one of Chicago's top stylists (he's done the hair for Hollywood's biggest 'it' girls like Dita von Teese, for goodness sake). Siren Salon has been consistently ranked #1 in magazines and for good reason. They received "Top Salon" and "Best Fastest Blowout" by InStyle, "Best Haircolor" by Allure, and featured several times in Daily Candy Chicago. Sorry, but you don't get those awards without merit and this team of stylists is the best in Chicago. You'd be crazy not to schedule an appointment here.

Pros: Highly-trained staff, incredible product lines, stylish

Cons: Parking
