The first time I saw Blue man group was at the Briar Street Theatre in Chicago, and it was amazing.. The theatre seats less people than most other venues, so all the guests got a great view. I went to see them tonight in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center and was so disappointed (almost 10,000 people!!) yikes! They're great nonetheless.. If you're going to go though, and it's not somewhere small like the Briar Street Theatre, do spend the extra money on good seats.. otherwise it's really not worth it..

My boyfriend and I went to Blue Man Group and had a blast. Kids will love the show--especially if you get to sit in the coveted "poncho seating" however if you're wearing something nice, you might prefer to sit further back. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. While some people may feel that BMG is overrated, I really appreciated the fact that in the show, art became interactive. It wasn't just something to look at--it was something to be a part of.

Pros: interactive, fun

Cons: banana in the hair

This show is highly over rated. The three blue men play with and throw food around like chimpanzees for about 1 1/2 hours. Occasionally they make sounds by pounding on P V C plumbing pipes. I feel riped off it was about $60 per person plus $12 for parking. I could barely stand it the only reason I stayed for almost the whole show was I kept thinking this has to get better , but it never did. for your own good don't go.

Pros: none

Cons: everything

On a recent visit to Chicago, my mother, myself, and a friend from Chicago were able to got to the Briar Street Theatre and watch the Blue Man Group preform. They were fantastic. Without saying a single word for 1 hour and 45 minutes, their show was still able to wow the audience. I recommend this show to all ages. INCREDIBLE!

Pros: Great entertainment, Great theatre, Excellent actors

Cons: Not near anything, Subway ride required
