Wonderful is the only word I can describe Gregg Helfer!! My girlfriend and I didn't know a diamond from a piece of glass, but Gregg was upfront, friendly, and credible. I was referred by a friend who was a happy customer, and we didn't go wrong. The ring was perfect in everyway. I will be referring his services to everyone I know that needs an engagement ring or diamond jewelry.

Gregg is a true artist. He can take anything or any idea and turn it into magic. Wonderful, personalized service. No pressure and fair prices for the highest quality diamonds and metals. Gregg turned our ideas into reality. Very customized experienc. Thanks!!!

I use citysearch for everything in Chicago, so when it came time to purchase a diamond engagement ring for my future wife, I checked out citysearch once again. I didn't have alot of money to spend, but Gregg treated me with respect and was able to easily create something within my budget. I chose a simple diamond solitaire setting that they had in stock, and my ring was ready within a day!! It turned out to be fantasitc, and easy for someone that has limited knowledge of the Jewelry business. Gregg is friendly and credible.. Highly recommended.

Gregg is someone on Jewelers Row that brings you "straight talk" right away...no games. Being a novice at buying an engagement ring, I was worried until I met Gregg. He simply explained the entire buying process to me and created an engagement ring directly from a photo that my girlfriend gave me. I shopped at others in this Jewelry building, and his prices were very competitive. I saved thousands compared to other retailers as well. In regards to color and clarity, Gregg's recommendations saved me money, and I was able to increase the size of my center diamond. The diamond was cut brilliantly, and my girlfriend said yes last weekend. She couldn't believe how beautiful the ring was. Gregg, we will be back this summer for the wedding bands. You are terriffic!!

Cons: Park in the Grant Park North Garage, 1 block East of Wabash, Valet is $$$

My husband and I have been working with Gregg for years and have never been disappointed! He is a delight to work with. Gregg is very honest and has so much integrity. He is always prompt in returning phone calls and his service is speedy and top-notch as well. If you are shopping for a personal jeweler look no further - he is wonderful!

Gregg is honest, respectable, experienced, and finds you what you want with what you can afford. Does not play games with you or your wallet! I highly reccomend for all your jewelry needs!!!!!
