place is decorated really nice, definitely if your coming up from the southwest where streamers and balloons are standard. however the price of pool time per hour seems very unreasonable

Pros: nice atmosphere and decor

Cons: too pricy

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

G-Cue is a beautiful pool hall with the best made pool tables in the world. I have been going there since it opened, the food is on par with a upscale restaurant, the appitizers even better. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can enjoy a game of pool or just sit and relax. Wednesday night feature a great Karaoke team called "Princess Karaoke" which always has the place jumping! Over all I would recommend this place for after work or after hours any day of the week.

Pros: Great Food, Great Tables & Karaoke Wednesday

If you enjoy getting ripped off G cue is for you. The food is pre made garbage and they are way over priced. The place is so low class they ask to hold your drivers license or credit card just to play a game of pool as if they are used to having people rip them off in there. The music was head banger white trash and the place was filled with tourists and those who do not know better. I even waited around for a bit to see if things would get better but sadly it only got worse. The place was clean and modern , but the atmosphere stunk. The screeching headbager music is so loud you have to shout over people to be heard. Not a place to relax and play a game of pool. My advice save you money and go somewhere else, this place will have no repeat visitors. They're advertising states they are " classy" yeah right! Any place that has to tell you they have class usually doesn't. The head brunette who takes your ID has all the charm of a wet noodle. No smiling to greet customers, she's as cold as ice. This place won't be around chicago long. Its a ripoff joint. STAY AWAY!

Pros: Clean

Cons: Too Much money, horrible loud music and uninviting, the place was dead

We had a company party here and it was great. Penny, the manager, is so nice and on top of her food! We had a great time and it was well worth the money. It is a great swanky place! :)

Pros: Food, Drinks

Cons: NADA

Editor's Review

Bi-level West Town pool hall with more than two dozen tables, plus an unusually loungey feel and fare.  See the full editorial review.
