Best Place In Calumet Park.
I visited Geno's by way of Southern Mississippi the other night and I really enjoyed myself...very chill, comfortable atmosphere!
GREAT BAND, didn't catch their name but they play there every last Monday of each month...definitely a very talented group of musicians! The lead guitar player basically made love to the guitar and I ended up "feeling it". The young man on the drums...for a second I thought he was the choreographer for the movie "Drum Line"...wonderful experience all around!
If you're looking for a "Grown & Sexy", chill, drama free, inexpensive, local spot...Geno's is your place. Also, if you're into "Cougars"...Geno's is your place! :)…
Down To Earth.
This place is one of the best hidden spots that I've experienced. I have visited quite a few after-work bars/lounges but I keep coming back to Geno's Place.
Although a predominantly african-american clientele, anyone can enjoy themselves there. The people are down to earth and the staff are fun and courteous.
The drinks are well priced and feature majority of the top shelf brands of liquor. Beware of the bartenders. They pour heavy.
If your looking for a new experience, come to Geno's Place. Leave the attitude at home. These people are real.…
