Party until the late Morning at Hydrate!

My friends and I recently went to Hydrate for a Valentine's Day party and had a blast! The cover was kind of expensive, but worth it since the party lasts until 5am. The new bartender Mike was super friendly and so HOTTTTTTTTTT! Staring at his rock solid six pack and body all night made us completely forget all about the vomit-smell throughout the entire club! ...my friends and I will be back!
- Pros: Friendly staff, great dance floor, hot shirtless bartender
- Cons: The smell, expensive cover

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEIVES LURK HERE! PICK POCKETING, WALLET SNATCHING, DIPPING INTO PURSES STEALING WALLTES!!! MY COUSIN, MY FRIEND AND MYSELF WERE HERE FOR NO MORE THAN A WHILE...GUYS PAIR UP 2 DANCE WITH US PRETTY CLOSE AND BEFORE WE KNEW IT...ALL 3 OF OUR WALLETS WERE GONE!!!! SLEEZEY LOSER BI%CHES! went there, my frist drinkS was 2 beers and it cost 6 dollers, an hr later, it costed me 8 dollers. THEY MESS WITH THERE PRICES!!!!!!!! DONT TRUST THEM ON THERE PRICE! TRUST

I jst was there last Thu, the club was packed and fun. Jst only the dance hall thats not much ppl as i expected, maybe becos its Thursday. Anyway, I'm a gal (straight one) but my first time with this pub , i would say recommended. The bartender is really hot as well.. so you should go to check it out tho.. Definitely have to go back... Ciao~

I THINK THIS BAR IS PRETTY NICE IN TERMS OF MUSIC!!! YES IT IS A BAR.. NOT A CLUB... ALTHOUGH IT HAS A STAGE WHERE U CAN SHAKE IT... IT GETS PRETTY PACKED, I DONT THINK THE PEOPLE IS THAT FRIENDLY BUT IT IS A PLACE WHERE U COULD HAVE FUN AND GET WASTED!!! COMPARED TO CIRCUIT THIS CLUB IS A +++++... THEY ALWAYS HAVE DIFFERENT DJS AND THE MUSIC IS VERY HOT, FOR THOSE WHO KNOWS ABOUT REAL CLUB HOUSE MUSIC, YOU SHOULD GO THERE AND JUDGE IT YOURSELF

This place is alright, I liked the Hole better.!, there is not that much room to dance or hang out really, it gets really hot and not a lot of room to breath.

alright this place is a dump and they charge way to much to get in this joint. Im sorry $10-$15 cover at the door..please i could by like 3 beers at the next bar that doesnt have cover at all.. and plus this place doesnt have Bud products. The music there is real bad! the Bathrooms are small as hell and the service there is bad!

Hydrate locked in on the finest DJ's around. Every night is a dance party. This club does it all. Retro Club, Drag Shows, Theme NIghts, and the best World Class DJ's

I can't stand this bar!!!!!

The service at this bar is terrible. The people who work there are the rudest people I've ever met! The scene there is "average" but nothing you can't get at any of the other Halsted bars--minus the attitude. On weekends they often charge an unusually high $10-15 cover (high by Chicago standards)... Everything they've tried doing is better done by another bar... Major skip it!

i loved hydrate first few times i went i stood in line an hour and a half to get in last year at pride cool some of the bartenders are uptight jerks if u dont like ur job get a new one smiles are good and so is respect they work at a gay bar and think there gods NOT! i dont look like the blond hair six pack havin cute boys that everyone loves so i guess that why i was disrespected for asking for a couple more drinks after gettin one made music is hot most the time small dancefloor feels like a house party but the drinks are cheaper at house partys no space for good dancers just a good place to hump sweaty shirtless guys
- Pros: cute bathroom, gr8 music, good lighting
- Cons: rude bartenders, cramped dancefloor, pricy weak drinks
