Irish Nachos....!!! THE BEST
by Redh0tw at Citysearch
Had some time to use while in Chicago and was hungry. Found Grace O'Malley's and it was like a diamond in the rough. Excellent Martini's and the wait staff suggested Irish Nachos. I fell in love instantly, as wierd as the combination sounded it was by far the best appetizer/lunch dish you could ever feast on!! Highly recommend!!
- Pros: Ambience, Service, IRISH NACHOS
- Cons: parking
Really good food for a bar!

Love the chopped salad! REally great food for what is ultimately a bar. My only complaint is that the hightop tables in the front are really tippy! if you lean on them too much, they will completely tip over! Good news is that forces you to sit up straight!
Great Neighborhood Spot

We've lived in the South Loop for 5 years and have been a fan of Grace O'Malley's since it opened. It's a great neighborhood spot, good crowd, nice staff, and has one of the best brunches around.
South Loop Love
by katiegirl99 at Citysearch
This charming South Loop Irish Pub-Restaurant is a MUST if you're in the area. I've been here many times with my boyfriend who lives nearby and we always enjoy our experience. The service is great (many times you'll see the same smiling, familar faces), the food is dependly good everytime and the atmosphere is pleasing. Whether you're going for a burger, fries and a beer in the pub area or dinner with the family in the restaurant area, you will love it. Hey, you'll probably even see me there!!
- Pros: Close to Soldier Field if you're headed to a Bears Game!
great place

Have been here many times and it has always been a positive experience. The best thing I've had so far are the pub chips...thin slightly flavored chips topped with some crumbled blue cheese and a cumin honey dipping sauce...sooo good. Mini burgers and other food good too. It's a nice low-key bar with good drinks.
- Pros: pub chips, food, price

You have to try this place if you haven't been. I consider myself an expert on Irish pubs and this one is not to be missed! Great Guinness, great burgers.
- Pros: Perfect Guinness, High Quality, Solid Service
South Loop habitues populate this clubby, neighborhood gastro-pub for updated Irish fare.

In Short
A spirited after-work crowd fills this comfortable hangout. High tables and stools line the lively front bar area and make for prime dining space, while a loft-like opening over the bar brightens up the wood-clad interior. Rich woodwork and several booths beckon in the more intimate back dining room. Pub standards like fish and chips and shepherd's pie prevail on the menu, while Guinness-cured pork chops and flavorful pork pasties are welcome additions.
Great Irish bar

It was my first time there and I was impressed with the cozy atmosphere, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the speed and care that the service staff displayed. The beer was great, the appetizers were great, and I had a fun time. They had the Cubs game on and also showed replays of the old Bears games on another TV.
