Don't be turned off by the neon green sign! I waited way too long to go to this neighborhood gem. The specialty maki are huge and stuffed with fish- my favorite is the "go alex" roll. The fish is very fresh and I am a total sushi snob. The volcano sauce is very creative, the eel is pefectly cooked, and the service is so friendly and attentive. I don't like mayo and I found the spicy lobster roll to be overpowered by it. Im sure you could ask them to use less mayo though. The place is still byob but with a $10 corkage fee since they also serve wine and beer. If you live in the area, it's a great place!
