If you are looking for a reliable coach line DO NOT use Colonial Coach. I am a recruiter for my company in Downtown Chicago. I flew in 85 people for a weekend of interviewing and recruiting events including dinner and WhirlyBall. Colonial Coach was running late and when I called to see where our buses were they lied and said they would be at our hotel in one minute. After another 45 minutes I called again to get an updated status of our buses and they stated they were a few minutes away because of an accident on the express way. They finally showed 10 minutes later. After speaking with their office regarding this matter they took 2 weeks to follow up and gave a completely new excuse why they were late. This was unacceptable and ruined out recruiting events we had planned for over 4 months. I would not recommend this unreliable company who does not take accountability for their actions and mistakes.
Cons: Do not show up at time requested (showed up an hour late)

I leased a charter bus to go from Chicago to Champaign. The bus broke down at 5 pm, and long story short, was running again at 2:45am!! Colonial waited until 11 pm to send a mechanic to fix the bus, and they sent him from Mt. Prospect (instead of getting a local mechanic), not to mention they waited 6 hours (I believe the bus driver was sleeping the majority of this time. The driver told us that he hadn't slept for over 48 hours prior to picking us up (real safe, huh?). This experience was an absolute nightmare, and to top it off, they offered me $100 of my $1430 back after I demanded a refund. They also failed to return my deposit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Cons: Worst customer service I have ever seen
