We had my mom's surprise 60th birthday party here and it was a huge mistake!!! Everything went wrong. The event coordinator communicated the wrong time to the hostess, so they seated other people where they should have reserved tables for our party. My guests were standing around a crowded bar for over a half an hour waiting. Once the tables cleared we frantically had to put up our decorations while my mom was stalled. They also promised us leis for the group which were never brought out. They then assigned two waitresses to our group who both had several other tables - they tried their best to get to us, but we waited constantly for food and drinks. It took an hour to get any food out which was all pre-ordered family style and mediocre at best. The calamari was undercooked, the salad was dry and tasteless, the tilapia was soggy, and the flat bread was too saturated with cheese. To top it off, there wasn't nearly enough for the group. I had to order more at every course because some guests were left with nothing after the food passed. The bus boys would walk by and not pick up anything. I had to clear my own tables and make them take the dirty dishes. When we wanted to get the cake cut the waitress did it herself right at the table instead of bringing it to the kitchen. We then took over for her because she was too busy. No coffee was offered at dessert and when we did ask it didn't arrive till well after everyone was done. It was just a disaster all around. I have never had to work so hard to be served dinner. The event coordinator never apologized and disappeared as soon as it started. When we got the bill, they charged us $40 for my 5yr old nephew's chicken fingers. The only thing that went right was that they agreed we shouldn't pay full price. However, you only get one 60th birthday, and I would have much rather paid and had a nice time then get the discount. Bottom Line: I would NEVER go here again.
