Very disappointed and Non-Patriotic – I say don’t go…

I am disappointed for the lack of patriotic behavior. My boyfriend (US soldier stationed at Kuwait) was here for the weekend. We decided to take him Enclave. We waited in line like everyone else. I noticed the bouncers/ receptionist/ employees were letting their friends in…after 20min I spoke to security / bouncers and asked them if they would let us in, since my soldier is here for only the weekend. The security said they’ll “see” what they can do…and after 20 more minutes they did nothing. Of course, we left went to Spy-bar – LePassage which “Welcomed home the soldier”

• Pros: People watching...
• Cons: Non-Patriotic to us

Don't Bother...

ENCLAVE sucks... not only is it a bitch to find, since most of the lights dont work... then we paid $12.00 for parking stood in line for 45 minutes before one of the bouncer/doormen finally spoke to us and said that its over capacity, and that they were only letting table service in. sooooo not only did we drive from the burbs, paid valet, and froze our butts off we didnt even get in!!!

Believe me ENCLAVE will know they messed with the wrong crowd!!!!!

Dont bother!

My friends and I RSVP for the fashion show last night.. we arrived early approx 10 ish. There was three people in front of us, two ladies and a man. We stood approx 15 mins when the two ladies in front of got carded and the doorman later told them your name is not listed, the ladies said we RSVP.. the doorman said we cant do nothing about it.. the doorman was a true a**hole, we tried getting his attention politely and he ignores you as if he's HOLY! He then later carded the man in front of us who had a confirmation printed out, he was too decline! before my friends and i got carded two blonde wannabee barbies walked away from the club and stated outloud to the doorman who rejected the people ahead of us stated "the guy is checking I.D.s" By the time we got carded they said are names wasnt on the list as well when we RSVP! Pretty much the doormen picks and chooses he wants in EVEN UNDER AGE girls.. obviously this club discriminates and prefers those they want regardless if your name is on the list.. i hope they get caught for letting under age people in!!!

HORRIBLE!!

**DO NOT GO TO THIS PRETENTIOUS PLACE!!!!!! I am surpirised they are still open, though I am sure they are not going to last much longer....It will NOT matter if you put yourself on the list....you will still wait for hours before they let you in (if they do) and will charge you $40 to get it. The bouncers are a joke!! They act like they are protecting the White House!!! This place gives Chicago a bad name....there are plenty of hot spots in Chicago....GO TO THEM!!!! This place does not deserve your $$$!!!!

Ok, if you can get in

Last year a friend of mine who works at a radio station took me to Enclave. I enjoyed it and looked forward to going back. My friend and I went last night, or rather, attempted to go. I get emails from them every week so I knew to RSVP for free admission. We got there at 10:40 just to be safe. We stood outside in the 5* temperature until 11. They wouldn't let us in and told us it would be another half hour, at least, and they were going to charge us the cover! We were in line with about 30 other people, most of them girls! They also told the guys in front of us they would get them all in for $40 a head! We all left. I don't see this place staying in business long when they turn away large groups of girls. Guys aren't into other guys, or maybe they are. The really sad thing is this is the third time this has happened to me! Bad, bad, bad!

HOTTEST CLUB IN CHICAGO!!

This is my FAVORITE club of all time... they never give me problems getting in, and if you go on their website and sign up for the guest list, you can get free admission by 11. Hottest music, very friendly crowd, lots of good-looking people. Also, i've seen a bunch of celebrities there... carmen electra, steve-o, dj am, audrina from the hills.. love this place i always have an awesome time!

• Pros: Very classy, awesome music, great atmosphere
• Cons: kind of pricey

If your not a Yuppie, or a rich putz, or a D-cup blonde/brunette, or dare I say white and abrocomie like don't bother

Enclave is in one word bull*hit. When it first opened up it was awesome but lately it's been nothing more than a yuppie fest. Rude bouncers and even ruder bartenders, overpriced drinks. But if your in to that then it's the spot for you...

Worse Nightclub in Chicago!

People please pay attention to all of the bad reviews below! They are not embellishing one bit. The bouncers were the biggest jerks I've ever encountered. Trust me I've been to way too many clubs in Chicago to know this place isn't worth your time. Don't even bother putting yourself and your party on their VIP List. You will not get in no matter how early you get there. If you dare ask for a table while you stand in line they will deny you. I doubt this place will be in business much longer. This is not a way to treat people that patron your establishment.

Terrible -- avoid at all costs

After purchasing tickets to the Sugar Ray after party, we were denied admissions on grounds that the club "was at capacity." While I stood there to protest this, half a dozen people were let in past me. When I demanded an explanation from the club manager, Tony, he had his hired goon push me to the side and asked "what I was going to do about it." When I threatened to call the cops, one of the VIPs passing me flashed me his badge and said "I am the cops." I for one will *never* waste my time on this place again, and cannot believe that they can get away with such abhorrent business practices.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND WALK AWAY.

I would give this place a negative 5 stars if I could. Horrible, horrible staff. Ridiculous bouncers who tried to rip us off. There are tons more places in Chicago where you can have much more fun without the hassle (and with better and more beautiful people). Absolutely no go. Do yourself a favor and check out another club on the citysearch list.
