tiny-little place

I went to Celebrity last weekend with a few of my friend. The place was borring, so we left after being inside for about 5 minutes. I guess if you are originally from the burbs CELEBRITY is a place for you.

• Cons: no real dance floor, the place is too small

this place is incredible. it is the closest thing to a new york style lounge in chicago. packed with interesting, good looking folks. the decor is fab and the djs were great!

i love it

i came here with mixed thoughts since i really never go out in wicker park. but when i came i was surprised by how nice it was. i felt very comfortable and the service was outstanding. my boyfriend fell in love with our server as well as the bartenders. (thanks ;)) i met the owners ben and paul and they were super cool too. it was refreshing to be hanging out with the owners and have them act NORMAL!! i would recomend this place to anybody!!!

Everybody is a star at this stylish Wicker Park nightspot.

The Scene
Nobody really expects Paris Hilton to walk through the door, but owner and Detroit native Paul Blair's first foray into the Chicago club scene sets the bar high. The bright reds, oranges and yellows of the 20-panel graffiti painting near the entrance surrender to the warm glow of candles and sconces on the exposed-brick walls. Elegant, clean and minimalist, the space is surprisingly roomy and open for a corner bar, divided by modular table-and-cube seating arrangements in the front and back, and a small 15-stool bar in the middle.

The Draw
Seamlessly spun hip-hop and R&B form the perfect backdrop for socializing among the sharply dressed, attractive crowd. Libations include everything from Cristal to refreshingly unpretentious choices like Hamms and Pabst Blue Ribbon, with a menu of 50 bottled beers. Snazzy small plates include tuna and salmon seviche and pulled pork taquitos.

reminds me of new york lounges

this place was great! i lived in nyc for most of my life but got a job with a ad agency here and i have not found a place that reminds me of home more than celebrity! it has a underground feel but a upscale look! specialty drinks are amazing and staff is beautiful! i came early but saw a line form around 11 on a friday so i am happy i showed up when i did. i will def. come back and recomend it to anybody who KNOWS GOOD NIGHTLIFE!!

this place is sweet

big fan of this bar. chicago needed a place like this. it reminds me of underground lounges in new york where you would actually find celebritys hangin out!
