WOW!! Off the Leash ROCKS!

Great store, friendly staff!! The dog wash is unbelievable. The prices are great. They even offer dog walking. We signed up 1 month ago and have never been so satisfied. The cheapest rates on the northside and the longest walks.

• Cons: Book dogwash and walking in advance.

The highest quality for the price

This store is great! Off the Leash is easy to get to, near Winnemac park, the Damen brown and the Ravenswood metra stops. The people there are so knowledgable about the products and have given me really great recommendations. Staff share a genuine interest in your pets and are always willing to offer suggestions. I never feel snubbed in there like I do in some of other "pet boutiques." They have some of the cutest stuff too! Rockabilly collars, cute dog sweaters, toys your dog will *adore*, baked treats, all natural and preservative free foods! If they don't have what you want, they'll order it for you! They also have all kinds of events and even training classes! Both of my dogs are graduates and the trainer Off the leash brought in is out of this world. I love the "dog wash" too!

SOMETHING special

They have the cheapest self service wash I have found! Definetly has original toys! I found a blinky ball inside of a tire chew toy that I have not seen anywhere! Also found a sick with a squeaky stuffed toy on the end of it attatched by a rope that I have not seen elswhere..I also found a sweatshirt with the hole for the collar at the top which I can't find elswhere....

Nothing special...but still has it's place.

Previous review 10/22/2005: Although they carried quality chew, treats, and food, they were expensive. There were not any original toys or apparel that would suggest boutique quality.

Update 3/12/2007: I swung by the store recently, and it has changed quite a bit. They added a dog wash and have some new merchandise. The staff is friendly. I have changed my recommendation, just don't expect to find higher end dog accessories here.
