I contacted Affordable Handyman ("AH") to hang / anchor several heavy mirrors and paintings in my home. AH was able to accommodate my busy schedule and make an appointment quickly and conveniently. Once the handyman arrived (on-time, if not a little early), he was professional, meticulous, patient, and experienced in the task at hand. All debris was cleaned up and the project turned out beautifully. As an added bonus, the project came in under-budget. Highly recommended.

Affordable Handyman with Mr. Martin Lorenzo and Valentine did a great job. Excellent work ethic and superior service. Very affordable as well. I have already recommended to others and will definitely use again. Thanks for a great job.

Martin showed up on time (maybe even a few minutes early), completed the job in an hour and used materials I already had --all other estimates said 2 to 4 hours and wanted to bring their own materials. Martin was very friendly and cleaned up the worksite before he left. I will definitely call him again when I have more work.

Martin was great. He came to my house on short notice while my husband was out of town fixed a big list of things in less than 2 hours. He was fast, friendly and cleaned up after. I would highly recommend his services.

I recently hired Martin and his crew to paint the main room and office in my apartment and for some repair to my backdoor. I am really happy with the experience and the quality of their work. Martin offered great advice on paint and finishes. They arrived on time and worked diligently. They also finished a three-day job in two and left my apartment cleaner than when they started. I am most impressed with the attention to detail. I live in an old building and my trim has seen more than one paint job in its time, but they made it look beautiful, and my apartment looks like a new place. I would and will hire Affordable Handyman again.

Pros: Great quality work, attention to detail, reliable and responsive

We gave them 20+ projects of varying size to complete in our home. They finished all in a timely manner and did a superb job on each and every one. The total cost was very reasonable and completed within budget. They can really do it all. Painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and more. I have had nothing but bad experiences in the past, so this was a refreshing change. I would definitely recommend Affordable Handyman for any residential or commerical jobs.

I sent an inquiry on a weekday afternoon to get some blinds hung. I received a quote the following day, and had my job completed within a week at below the cost of the quote! Martin was extremely friendly and did the job quickly and efficiently! He even asked if there was anything else thatn I needed done while he was there after he completed hanging my blinds. I would definitely recommend Martin to anyone. Service was friendly, quick, and within original estimate!

Martin and his assistant came over in two hours notice. I needed them in a crunch and he was there with no questions asked. He came after hours around 6:30pm on his free time once his other jobs were completed. But aside from working on my schedule he does GREAT CLEAN AFFORTABLE WORK!!!!! I have complete confidence in anything he does and I know I will be charged a fair price. That is very hard to find these days. What ever your need around the house is, do yourself a favor and hire Martin for your job. You will not be disappointed. In just an hour and 1/2 he pulled all my speaker wire behind my drywall and fished more speaker wire under my floor though some piping to the other side of my room. He then plugged my drywall holes and had them mudded before he left. My floors were swept and looked as if nothing had been done at all. Just FANTASIC!!! Thanks again Martin you really saved me. I've know Martin for several years. He is completely trustworthy. He will be there when he says he will, and you can safely leave him in your home while you are away. Martin is a perfectionist and a jack-of-all-trades. He will tell you if you need a specialist, and not attempt something only to get in trouble. Martin removed two kitchen soffits, rerouted an electrical conduit and exhaust vent, installed wallboard, mudded & primed, then mounted new cabinets. He also installed a vanity and new boxes for wall sconce lighting in my bathroom - all to the exacting standards of my wife! He is very creative in resolving those wierd issues that always come up in projects (and I don't mean with a paper clip and duct tape.) He has installed toilets and a roof ehaust fan - all with no damage and no problems. He gets repeat business from me when I need something I'm not comfortable handling for myself. I've recommended him to my friends, and they invariably thank me for the referral. You can also have confidence in his assistant, Valentine.

Affordable Handyman is a great service. I called the service to install drapery rods. Martin (the owner) came over and put up the rods. Martin and his assistant changed my apartment entry and bedroom door locks, which improved the old outdated work my landlord failed to upgrade. I asked him if he would come back and install ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom. He quoted me a price. I made an appointment. His work is quick precise and very professional and most importantly “Affordable!” I recommend his service to anyone who needs assistance. I especially recommend him to tenants with slow or lazy building managers who make his service necessary!

Pros: Thumbs up-Knowledgeable and polite.
