My friends and I were shopping for our pets in different pet boutiques in the Chicago area. We live in an area with no pet boutiques and shop for our pets mostly online. We were so excited to shop at some boutiques in the area and check out all the things they have to offer. We love to pamper our pets and buy them nice things. Our experience at tails in the city was horrible. We were treated very rudely by one of the store clerks. They definitely need some practice in the area of customer service and satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you love first rate customer service. Macy's is a much better store with more variety and customers are treated in a professional manner.

Ultra fun and knowledgable staff, very caring and accommodating owners and the finest line of upscale apparel and other items for sale this side of the Mississippi! THIS PLACE JUST ROCKS! If you want QUALITY items - this is the store for you! I bought so much I couldn't stop myself! They had the most adorable, chic carrier on wheels that my little Marshall climbed into at the store and wouldn't get out of... I couldn't believe the owner was rocking him back and forth in the unit while "mommy" was choosing from the hundreds of top notch collars, toys and all natural, healthy treats they have to choose from! I won't shop anywhere else from now on! If my babies loved it - so do I! Really outstanding store!
Pros: TWO PAWS UP! BEST PLACE IN THE CITY!

Our cockapoo Charlie goes to Tails in the City all the time - we love the owners and they carry a great selection of coats, sweaters, treats, and toys.

The men at Tails in the City will outfit your pooch to make him/her look like a movie star! Their product selection and quality of products is by far the best in the city. I live in Lincoln Park and a trip to Tails in the City is worth the drive. They are so nice and helpful! I needed a recommendation for a place to board my dog and they new exactly where to send me. I cannot say enough about this place. It is FABULOUS!

Tails in the City is a great place for unique gifts to pamper my pet. They also have tons of great events all year long. We went to the annual Halloween Pet Parade in October and had the best time picking out a costume and hanging out with hundreds of other dogs. If you have a dog you definitely need to check out Tails in the City!
