Joanne Morrison is a true artist...

By the time you're in your 30s - you've had your hair done more times than you can count! After much searching, I have found the best - Joanne Morrison. For the first time in my life, I wanted to try extensions - just to have thicker hair - the hair I had enjoyed years ago when I was pregnant. From expert color, to an updated cut, to perfectly matched extensions - I feel extraordinary!!

For my purposes, I wanted to look amazing without anyone really being able to put their finger on "why?" Mission accomplished - I have gotten so many compliments on my hair - but, no one has even guessed that I have extensions! The hair is perfectly matched for color, texture, and even the wave I have in my hair when I do not want to dry it straight - amazing! I love the copper tubes that she used - and the idea that we can just move up the extensions as my hair grows out. This is, by far, the best thing I have ever done to enhance my looks - worth every penny!!

Being able to teach the client how to maintain those "salon day" looks is a skill that few posses:

Great place for Men's haircut and clor

I called and was able to get a same day appointment. The place is awesme, bright, and the staff provides excellent service. The stylist I saw was Aaron, who really takes the time to listen to your hair concerns. I had the best haircut, and a color afterwards. For men looking for a great haircut, Aaron is the stylist to see. I would highly recommend visiting this salon.

Love this place!!

I've gone to Aaron at C Salon for several months now. Having only lived in this city for three years I had been struggling to find a salon I was comfortable at with a stylist I liked. The first time I went to Aaron he was incredibly friendly and offered great suggestions for "fixing" my sloppy haircut. I was so impressed the first time I couldn't wait to go back for my next cut. Not to mention that the salon itself is within walking distance from my condo. I've never received so many compliments on my haircut from co-workers, family/friends, to strangers on the street. The salon itself is clean and comfortable, the receptionists are always friendly, pricing is reasonable and as stated before - Aaron is great!!! If you're looking for a great stylist I strongly recommend checking this place out.

Aaron and C Salon are great!

Had been getting my hair cut by a friend for years, but location was not convenient and as scheduling became more difficult I decided to look for a salon nearby. I was referred to Aaron and C Salon by a friend and couldn't be happier. Aaron really listens to what you want but also offers suggestions based on what he thinks will really work for you. He has a ton of product knowledge, but isn't pushy. Aaron is great and has made it worth it to start paying for haircuts again!

Aaron is a fantastic colorist. I am a very dark brunette who colors pretty light blond. He found the right color right away and I have been going back religiously every five weeks since. He has great suggestions for subtle changes- lowlights in fall, a little lighter in summer. He gave me a fantastic cut after I lost a lot of hair after my baby was born. Even put in bangs I can live with! Salon itself is comfortable and I have found other staff (receptionist, shampooers) friendly and helpful. As a busy mom, would love them to have a nail tech to get nails done while I wait for my color!!

My hairstylist, Aaron, was very kind. He listened well to what I was looking for in a new haircut. He understood my lifestyle and gave me a style that fit it.

Their personal attention to me was excellent. The entire staff was very kind and accommodating. I love that they offer free bang trims to keep my style looking fresh.

Professional service, friendly stylist

Aaron really tried to listen to what I wanted and did his best to cut my thick hair. Despite a previous bad haircut from another salon, he did a very good job and I will be seeing him again.

Very happy new client

I'm a former Chicagoan returning to the city after several years and in search of a great stylist. I'm a dedicated Bumble & Bumble person who loves their cutting technique and products. So I found C salon and had my first cut and highlights with Aaron about 3 months ago. He took his time to listen to what I like and don't like and gave me his expert opinion on how to oversome some of my hair frustrations. He did such a thorough job with cutting my hair just how I wanted it - professional but pretty carefreeand low maintance. I waited to write the review since my true test was how well my bob haircut started to grow out. Well even with being several weeks overdue for a cut, I still love my haircut. Aaron did the best job at a layered bob. To top it all off, I found C Salon provided amazing first class service without the snobby attitude you can get with some other high end places. I'm a very happy new client who will surely be returning for many years to come.
