Elegant, creative... oh, it's just good!

The maki as well as the indivudal pieces of sushi - not to mention the brilliant appetizers, including oyster shooters, and the selection of saki - make for an excellent visit every single time. The staff is attentive and courteous; the customers are routinely well-mannered and not-too-loud. Happily off the beaten path, Hachi's is a great, rare find.
I've been here 3 times in the past month!

Hachi's is great and i HIGHLY reccommend it to anyone looking for quality sushi. The atmosphere is very "chill" and isn't too loud like some of the places in River North, etc.. The food is delicious. I'm no sushi expert so I won't go into details, but Hachi's is better than any other sushi I've had. I wasn't a big fan of the dessert items, but the main course items more than make up for it. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Its a great date spot too if you're looking for a place off the beaten path.
- Pros: ambience, service, tasty food
- Cons: Takes about 5-10 minutes to find street parking.
Good food, poor presentation

The maki at HK are delicious and very creative although I have a hard time getting past the use of paper green grass in the presentation; I feel like I'm eating cheap take out. I like the decor and the service is very promt and friendly. The soft shell crab appetizer is amazing!

Sai Cafe's spinoff in Logan Square takes on contemporary, minimalist decor and a menu of fresh sushi combos.
