Easy fixes could make this a great spot.

by mdostal

Great food, flavors and dessert. The service was below average. More staff, such as a bartender, could have inproved the experience. Our server had to make his own drinks so he was not anxious to offer refills or additional drinks, to say the least. Cool, quiant atmosphere.

Delicious!

by slsteinb

My boyfriend and I went there last weekend, and had a great experience. Really friendly and helpful staff, delicous food, great atmosphere. I highly recommend the crab stuffed artichokes...I could have eaten 100 of those. It is a small plate dining experience, don't go if you're wanting a half side of cow. I loved the small plates because it let us try a whole bunch of really interesting food combinations. Yum!

The sister of Meritage Cafe and Wine Bar highlights global small plate dishes for the late-night crowd in Lincoln Park.

by Valerie Moloney

In Short
The old Burgundy Inn morphed into this late-night dining spot in West Lincoln Park. Eclectic eats take form in hot and cold small plate dishes such as Pasilla marinated lobster seviche with jicama salad and cactus pear emulsion, grilled hangar steak with togarashi fries and yuzu aioli and buffalo sliders with caramelized onions. Rich desserts include profiteroles with peanut butter cup ice cream and dark chocolate sauce and strawberry brulee.

We love it!

by hunterfrei

We are neighborhood locals and are thrilled to have Fixture as our go-to place. It's a perfect spot for kicking back after work, a pre-evening drink on the weekends, a post-evening drink on the weekends and for dinner anytime! The food is absolutely fantastic - the Buffalo Sliders are a must! The DJ, the servers and the bartendars and the chef are a perfect team to make any evening fantastic!

  • Pros: brilliant food, great service, valet parking

Not impressed

by quaffwine

Saturday night - the atmosphere was casual and fun with a DJ spinning live. We sat at the bar first ordering a bottle of wine. It was odd the bartender didn't let us taste the wine as she poured full glasses for all (and missing serving the lady first). We asked for a table and were seated five minutes later. Upon seating we were greeted by lovable "Mirjana". She was warm and provided good service with smiles. The only part missing was the food. All of the dishes missed their mark and seemed to read well on the menu, but at the table became lifeless. The ceviche had little flavoring, the barbequed suckling pig was overwhelmed by a ketchup flavored sauce. For the relatively high prices, I expected better dishes, or at least better executed ones. This seems like a good place for cocktails. Dinner - go somewhere else.

  • Pros: Atmosphere, Wine List Reasonable, Service
  • Cons: Food, Food , Food
