My husband and I had dinner at Bourbon on a Thursday. The food was great -- we started with the Jim Bean BBQ shrimp and the goat cheese/tomato sauce. Both very delicious! And huge enough to be a meal in and of themselves For entrees, we had the BBQ pork sandwich (excellent) and the roasted pork loin (disappointing -- tiny pieces of pork smothered in an overly creamy sauce and not much spinach). We were looking forward to trying the filet listed on the online menu but the menu we got at the restaurant was quite a bit smaller than the online menu (and was missing the filet). The restaurant was quite dark, but the huge open windows were nice. The lives music was also nice but a little loud for the small space. The vibe was a little strange -- hard to tell if it wants to be a restaurant or a bar, and hard to tell if it's supposed to be a cute local joint or a place where you need to know the password to get in. The food would be enough to bring us back but the atmosphere was a little odd.
