Almost walked right by this place with my husband, because of the lower level location(which makes it feel very intimate) Thank goodness we stopped in. The best food in the city when it comes to their tapas type of menu!!! And their service was outstanding. Will be making many more visits. It is a MUST!!!
The Gold Coast version of the funkier original retains an exotic small plates menu.

Housed in an unlikely subterranean storefront, the dim space exudes privacy behind tinted windows and heavy curtains. Despite the speakeasy appeal, this location features two meals the original doesn't--breakfast and lunch--both following the small plates theme. Ostrich, a popular ingredient at the original, appears in eggs Benedict, and lunch features eclectic salads and sandwiches. Dinner items are available in small and larger portions encouraging communal eating.
