Fun Shop!

This is a really fun shop. I could spend hours in here. I purchased some great art acitivities for my nephews. No, it is not just for girls. I am really interested in taking some of the knitting classes as well....when I have some time. This would be a great place to take some kids you are babysitting. I recommend it for all ages.

This is a GREAT neigborhood hang out for anyone looking to spend the morning, afternoon or evening creating. Whether you knit, sew, crochet, bead, draw or are creatively challenged there is SOMETHING here for you to do and friendly staff to assist you. If you want to inspire your kids to be creative this is the place for you! There are kits for children of all ages to spark their creative mojo and keep them creating. You can purchase the kit, sit and create or take it home. There are many classes for kids as young as 5 and as old at 99.

If you are a knitter or crocheter there is a wide variety of yarns to feel and purchase for that next casted on project. There is also a local Sit and Knit group that meets at 6:30PM every Thursday. While alot of knitting may not be accomplished in that time friendships have been forged that create a very inviting, friendly, open atmosphere for anyone to join whether experienced or novice.

Have no idea if you are creative, no problem. There is plenty in this store from floor to ceiling for even the severely creatively hindered to walk out with a finished project! After finding your niche you can be sure that you'll be back to deed your crafty habit! Once you have found your creative outlet, or you already know it and embrace it proudly, you are encouraged to stop in often and sit at one of the comfortable seating spots and "create" while you hang. Definitely the place to hang while your kids are in an afterschool program, at the park or just to get away for some "me" time.

Quaint location, freindly staff, creative ideas and kits for everyone from 5 to 99!

I never know what to get my wife or kids for gifts. There are plenty of creative kits and projects from floor to ceiling to give to anyone who is creative or not. There are plenty of creative supplies to keep them creative as well. Don't know what to get that knitter, beader, weaver, creative guru? Sister Art Stuidos has unique gifts for all! Whenever one of my daughters has a party to go to we stop in to get a creative kit for the gift. Send your wives and kids in for some "creative downtime."

• Cons: Easy to spend way too much money!
