City Fresh Market is one of my favorite grocery stores. The food is very fresh and the service is excellent. I enjoy the experience each and every time. Yes I recommend City Fresh Market to everyone.

Poor customer service

They do not allow comparison shopping. Makes me very suspicious. I have shopped here previously and been fine, the prices on meat, especially, have been great, but it had been a while so I wanted to compare their prices to the big chains again. As I was going through the store with my list and jotting down prices to compare I was approached by the manager and told that I could not write down prices. She kept saying that I could browse but not write down prices because it would make them less competitive and that they did not allow price comparing. I guess I was supposed to just remember the prices for everything on my list or just trust that they had a better price. It was really odd and upsetting. It also makes me think that if they are this paranoid about price comparisons I must have been paying too much for something there

• Pros: good prices on produce & meat (maybe??)
• Cons: will not allow customers to check prices

Bad customer service

City Fresh Market do have some stuff very cheap but customer service is so poor I will never go there again. I will pay more and get better service.
