We have been taking our dog to Urban Outsitters for nearly a year. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is clean, the staff is friendly, they don't cage the dogs and actually play with the dogs.

Pros: Clean, friendly, they don't cage

Cons: High staff turnover-nature of the business

What a wonderful person offering her warm and expert services. Joseph and his crew is highly professional and also warm and loving to our 2 cats. When we go away for a few days, I am just so relieved knowing that they will be there to check in on my kitties and take care of their needs. What a great asset our area has.

This month was the 3rd Anniversary of our little rescue dog joining our family. She's a high-energy girl and needs a doggie day care! The first 1-1/2 years we sent her to a good facility however this facility did not separate the dogs by personality or size - so she was still a little crazy and fearful being with the large dogs. We switched to Urban Out Sitters on the recommendation of many of our friends. (They do separate dogs by temperment and size) You know they do love your dog. My little girl has had a total personality change since going to Urban Out SItters - she was always sweet, but now she has manners - yes really -- and she is one happy pooch! She loves playing with the little dogs and she loves the staff -- these guys are great. It's obvious to me that we made the right move when we brought her to the UOS family. Before there was always a fight getting her nails trimmed -- what am I talking about -- I couldn't even touch her feet or brush her. Now after the crew has groomed her and trimmed her nails and brushed her teeth -- she trusts them and us -- they are gently loving and caring. Taking our girl to Urban Out Siters was one of the best decisions we have ever made -- I totally recommend this doggie day care - your dog will be happier for the experience.

Pros: Dogs are well cared for and gently taught good manners -- Happy Pooch at end of day!

Urban Out Sitters is a dream come true! I was so confident leaving my dog with them over the holidays and I am very picky! They are so professional and compassionate. Jackie asked all the right questions about how to make my pup comfortable and happy during her stay before I had to mention anything! I knew that my dog was going to love it there and sure enough she did! I would and will highly recommend Urban Out Sitters and Jackie for everything from boarding, dog walking to daycare. She is such a treasure!

I've been bringing my dogs and cat to urban for years. They've always been very well cared for. We always get extra playtimes and sometimes go into the kennel area to say goodbye. It is clean and bright, an overall good place to leave your pet with no worries. When I bring my black lab to the vet, which is across from his daycare, he cries heads toward his daycare and actually gets excited and drags me to the door. It's sort of like camp for him.

Pros: big grassy area for the dogs, bright kennel area, friendly service

When my dog Playto first started going to UOS he was 3 months old and got to hang out in the 'Small Dog Area'. Being a Swiss Mountain Dog the staff knew that it was only a matter of time before he was one of the bigger dogs in the facility. They took the time to take Playto out of the small area and into the big dog area so he could start to get use to hanging with the big guys. Not only was that a thoughtful process but Tommy the owner would make videos that he gave me when I picked him up to show me how he was interacting with the big dogs. 8 months later he is now over 100lbs. He used to come to work with me a few days a week but it was clear he liked hanging with the UOS Staff and chasing his pals through dog houses and barrells more than laying on the couch in my office and listening to me make calls all day. The staff is thoughtful, caring and responsive to anything that might be affecting my dog. They give report cards on his behaviour and anything that I should be aware or look out for. The UOS staff are really partners with me in my dogs life. I have also boarded Playto with them and it is really great to not have to worry about my pup when I am away. I know when he is there he isn't thinking of me, just having a blast. As for the facility it is set-up properly, it is clean, and everytime I go there dogs are either on their way out for a walk or coming back which is nice to know that they are not inside all day long. I have seen the videos of Jagger rolling around on the floor and never comes home smelling funky....and that is worth a lot when he jumps in bed!

We've tried several doggie day cares, and Urban Outsitters is the only doggie daycare that recieved the approval of our two dogs. They love it there! One of our pups is very gentle and sweet but has severe sound phobias and can't be left at home alone for extended periods. We've tried other daycares but had bad experiences with her crying the whole way to center, and she even tried to escape one facility. Then we found urban and now everyone is happy. The staff clearly love the dogs and give them alot of attention. Our dogs love going there and we drop them off knowing they're safe, happy and well cared for.

We left our precious Havanese with Urban for overnight boarding for a week as we traveled East to visit our daughter in college and couldn't take her with. We called and were told she was doing fine but until we returned home and saw her; one never knows. Our dog was very relaxed and in great shape. We knew instantly that she was well taken care of. I would highly recommend Urban Out Sitters to anyone without any reservations.

My dog goes absolutely berserk when we turn the corner off Randolph and charges out of my car and waits by the door to run in. The staff all seem to know him, and he comes home healthy and usually seems more fit. I have always gotten progress reports when I called and asked about him. They also know almost everything about him - his personality, eating habits, and even his poddy habits. I like being able to look in on him on the cam although I can't always see him. Sometimes the place smells pretty doggish, but it is a dog place... I think the fact that he almost knocks over their front desk to get in every time says it all. I have gone to 5 other places in town including some pretty pricey options, but this one meets all the right standards. Woof!
