Fusion rocks!!! After moving to Chicago earlier this year and attempting to transition from a stylist I had seen for seven years who knew my hair inside and out to a new salon here in Chicago, I was completely dissatisfied with the results I experienced from THREE different salons, all pricey and considered higher end. I decided to try Fusion after reading quite a few top notch reviews and I will be forever grateful! I was booked with Amy the owner, and not only did she give completely honest and accurate advice on my desire to color my hair a certain way, she then called to check on the results a few days later. I would say the best customer service I have seen from a salon, especially when all my prior stylists had been so arrogant about their work, even though they all massacred my hair! Amy fixed my haircut that a previous stylist had completely butchered ( I have very thick hair) and my color looks beautiful. I highly recommend this salon if you are tired of messing around with pretentious overpriced snobs that pretend to know what they are doing. Here you can be sure you will be respectfully listened to by a very professional and friendly staff in an upbeat atmosphere!

My husband and I have been getting our hair cut with Aimee since she opened and are always happy and relaxed when we leave. She is very talented and such a great person by listening to our wants while offering her professional opinion. Great location-parking never a problem. I love the fresh flowers and the photography around the hair studio along with the great music. So if you need a new and improved look call them up.

After having many issues with finding the right color for my hair, I decided to go to Fusion. Amiee did such a great job. She took the time to fix the color problems I had, and left my hair feeling much healthier and stronger. She also did a fabulous job on the cut as well. Fusion staff is extremely friendly and helpful making this a great place to go!!

Being a Chicago native I am very hesitant to just try an internet user review, yet after having the worst color experience from a "Referred Top Colorist" , my hands were waving in the air. I was absolutely thrilled after I received an extensive consult from Anna at Fushion. All of the staff was so lovely, understanding how sensitive I was to such horrible prior service which left my hair orange. From the minute I called to inquire the receptionist was so understanding as to my urgency to get this fixed to the minute I walked in and was offered a beverage and a warm smile. It's so hard to look for a great stylist due to the unique attributes we all posess, yet Fushion Salon on Clark in Lakeview is by far my new and only salon. The owner is extremely approachable and caring as to why clients have come to her salon. Not to mention the sinks have a reclining ottoman to put your feet up when washing your hair. I actually almost took a quick nap while I was waiting for color. This salon is extremely clean and the atmosphere is just right. Her choice of color and interior style is hip and welcoming. Anna is eager to ensure her "New Clients feel safe" I have my next appointment in 4 weeks and I can't wait to see what is next. TRY THIS PLACE!!!

After years of bouncing around trying to find that right cut, I found Melissa and won’t go back! I followed her from her former salon, to Fusion, and have been going to Melissa for 3 years now. If I could fly her out to my wedding for the up-do I would! I won't go to anyone else. Fusion could not be a better place to go for a relaxing, friendly, and inviting experience. All the girls are fantastic. Melissa is fabulous at both cut and color and I refuse to go to anyone else!

I had my first experience at Fusion Hair Salon last weekend. I made an appointment with Anna to touch up my highlights. The inside of the salon was really cute and trendy, and the girl behind the desk was really friendly. Anna consulted with me before doing anything, and really made sure of what I wanted. I told her what I wanted to do, and then told her to use her own judgement to do the rest. The color came out beautiful! I was very impressed. Anna used her own creative skills to determine what would look best on me and it is probably one of the best coloring jobs I've had done in years. I will definately be back to see Anna soon!

Fusion Hair Studio is a great place to get your hair cut. Aimee has been cutting my hair since 2004 and always get a great haircut from her. I am really bad about making appointments and wait until my hair is totally unmanagable before calling to get my hair cut. If I cant get into see Aimee, I have gone to other stylists in the salon, and have had a great hair cut, no worries. The staff did my hair, my mom's hair and my bridesmaid's hair for my wedding. They came in early to accomodate me and I even got a bottle of champagne from Aimee. Thanks everyone for such great service, you are highly recommended in my book!

Frances is my stylist at Fusion, and she is awesome. Her talent really shows when it comes to color. She can do whatever you ask, and make it last and look healthy. And, not only will she give you the cut you want, but gives you tips on styling so you can get that same look at home (well, almost. I'm still not as talented as she is!!). Overall, Frances is there for you. If you want to chat, she chats; if you want to chill, she chills. It's a treat going to see her, and she makes me look fabulas!!

I've been going to Aimee for over a year now and she knows me & my hair so well!! Even though I sometimes slack off and go more than two months between visits she always remembers what we talked about the last time & is always checking up on me. She knows what products I like & does her best to make sure they are in stock when I come in! You think it's hard breaking up with a significant other? I think it would be 5x harder to break up with my stylist!! Even the rest of the staff here recognizes me and remembers important happenings in my life. I would definitely recommend Aimee to anyone and everyone who was looking for a great stylist!! You guys are awesome!

I've found Melissa a couple years ago and she changed my life!!! I walked in to the salon with dead lifeless hair and a horrible cut. (I wasn't feeling very pretty at the time.) She took one look and me and knew exactly what to do to turn my self esteem around. I have very curly gray hair that isn't easy to work with, but every time I leave the salon my color and cut are amazing! She colors my hair to look so natural even when it starts growing out. I never get the "skunk" strip! And my cut always grows out so well. I recommend her to anyone who needs a good pick me up. If you're new to the area or you're a native give Melissa a call. You'll feel like a million bucks when you're done!
