BEST SCRUB AND MASSAGE IN TOWN!!!!
by CharleneSnyder
I scheduled for a Salt scrub "Glow" and massage. This was the first time I have ever had a scrub, but needed to exfoliate prior to a sunless tanning appointment tomorrow, and thought it would be a great idea.
I truly wish my visit was longer. Laima was genuine, professional, and truly gifted. What a blessing to cross paths...for mind, spirit, and body.
As a provider in the world of Dermatology, I am quite selective with whom I trust my skin. I couldn't have had a better experience and will recommend family, friends, and collleagues. THANK YOU!!!
- Pros: Clean, professional, attuned to needs of the client
- Cons: None at all!!!

From the moment you step foot into the shop, you will feel at home. The staff here is so welcoming, warm, and accommodating. From skin care to body works, I've experienced it all. Laima's massages are the best I have ever received, while Nina's facials leave my skin feeling like new. If you need a place to simply relax and indulge, this is your spot!

All of the massages are great..........But the STONE MASSAGE ----- by magic fingers and magic stones of Laima the owner of THE BODYWORK AND MASSAGE SOURCE located on 2632 N Lincoln Avenue in Chicago in Lincoln Park. IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND STONE MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD.......IN ADDITION, I HAVE SPONSORED HER MASSAGES AT SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISERS. The next upcoming fundraiser will be for Touched by an Animal........Also knows as Cats are Purrrsons Too. Hope to see anyone that comes to the fundraiser.....If you can't come to the fundraiser, come get a massage. Especially, at Thanksgiving and Christmas for the STONE MASSAGE.
- Pros: thumbs up on everything!!!!!!!!!!
- Cons: none!!!!!

In addition my friend that joined me for the indulgence had never had a massage before at all and I wanted to be sure that her first experience was incredible. It was! The massueses were intuitive to our needs and i received one of my top 5 massages of my life!!!!
- Pros: services

The most relaxing part of my week is a massage at The Bodywork and Massage Source
by clothandpaper
I was feeling a little older and a little creakier, but thanks to Laima and Daiva at The Bodywork and Massage Source, I now feel a little younger and a lot less creakier. One massage by Laima and I was hooked. I treat myself to a weekly massage for the mental and physical benefits. The salon is pleasantly appointed and extremely clean. I have been a regular customer for nearly two years. I can recommend The Bodywork and Massage Source without hesitation and I like to give my friends Gift Certificates so they can also experience the pleasure.
- Pros: Lots of metered street parking available.
Best Massages in Chicago

This "no frills" spa facility, located in SE Lakeview is top-notch! I am a weekly regular for the past 3 years. Metered parking is plentiful... You get a full 60min massage - unlike the "frilly spas" that are overpriced. Laima and Diva are extremely friendly and have a true knack for bringing therapeutic relief to an achy overtired back. Without them, I would not be able to function properly throughout my demanding work-week. If you are tired of spas that are overpriced and under-deliver....then call Laima (owner) or Diva right away!! You will be glad you did...
- Pros: Value, Skills, Parking
- Cons: No-frills, No Sunday appts
Best massage

My husband & I have been going to The Bodywork & Massage Source since they opened. Unlike other spas that overwhelm you with their listing of serivces, and then are just mediocre on deliverying them, The Bodywork & Massage Source provides a shorter list of services expertly. I have tried a lot of massage places, and no one can relax my shoulders better then Laima & Diva with their deep tissue techniques.
They are easy to get to - via Fullerton El Stop, Lincoln Bus, or by car (plenty of street parking). You will not be disappointed in this friendly, professional business.
- Pros: Service, location, hours
Give them a try... you'll be glad you did!

My wife and I have been going to The Bodywork & Massage Source for years. We moved to the suburbs a year ago but we still travel into the city just to see them. They are conveniently located near the Diversey Brown Line stop and parking on Lincoln near Wrightwood is never a problem either. It is always clean and everyone there is friendly and professional. I've had many massages over the years and I am so thankful for Laima, Daiva and Katrina... they're the best. Just give them a try... you'll be glad you did!
Incredible massage, personalized approach
by jbalfe
I have had a lot of massages but Laima in hands-down the best massage therapist I've ever known. She has worked with me for everything from sports-related soreness and injury to major stress. This is no cookie-cutter massage! Every session is designed to address whatever is most important and she has an amazing understanding of physiology, the effects of stress on the body, how injuries or stress in one place can affect another area, etc. I can tell that she is continually building her knowledge base and it shows every time I go in for an hour's worth of heaven. I have a friend (a doctor) who also raves about the other massage therapist who works there, though I've never had a massage from her. The facility is wonderful - pleasant rooms and a lovely full bathroom a very nice shower - towels and robes provided. I can't say enough about this wonderful business!
- Pros: Great staff, great environment, very easy parking for Lincoln Park
