Salon Slice is the only place I'll go to get my hair done. Erica (the owner) is my stylist and she is amazing. My highlights are always so natural-looking -- no one ever believes me when I say I have highlights, even when they're grown out. Erica always listens to me and does what I want while also making my hair look great. I recommend Salon Slice to all my friends and several of them now go to Erica exclusively. Great prices for great quality - you can't beat that!

Pros: Affordable, cozy, great service, amazing results

Cons: Absolutely none

I have been going to this salon for almost a year now and have ALWAYS been happy with my results. I go to Cesar for hair and I also have gotten waxing and facials there. CEsar has been doing a wonderful job with my color, he even suggested lowlights that really made my look standout. He is so nice too, its very relaxing to be sitting in his chair while he makes me beautiful. I also have enjoyed my facials there. I think they use Dermalogica products which are great for my skin and the room they do the facial in is so relxing and nice, lit by cnandles. I was in a zone! The esthetician who took care of me was extremely knowlegable and professional and I will definately be going back for moee. Overall, this is a nice relxed atmosphere that is a nice alternative to a typical salon.

Pros: great color, cool atmosphere, very nice staff

I disagee with the previous poster regarding caesar. He does an excellent job. Besides, only total losers with no life write in to complain, as if anyone really cares. Seriously, you must be a real piece of work to write in and complain, to much time on your hands.

If you are a blonde don't get color from ceasar. My hair is now orange and I have to go back to have it fixed by Erica. Erica ( the owner) looks like she does a great job. A blonde next to me got her hair done by Erica and I was impressed, but very unhappy with my own color done by ceasar. I went in for a highlight and cut and lets just say that my roots look just as bad when I left. The cut is fine.

This is the first time I've written a review, but Cesar and the rest of the staff at Salon Slice deserve the recognition! I went into Salon Slice for the first time with the intention of just getting a trim. I sat down in Cesar's chair, took my hair out of my pony tail I told him I wanted to grow it out but I wanted a cute style while in process. With a brief consultation, he knew exactly what to do and eased my nervousness that accompanies trying out a new stylist. He was confident and talked me through every step of his process. I walked outta there with the best look I've had in years! I've finally found "my stylist" here in Chicago...

Pros: Friendly staff, gorgeous space, great products

Cons: None!

Emily gives the best facials I've ever had! I get one once a month with her. And, the room where the facials are given offers the ultimate in relaxation. Try one...you'll love it!

I went to Salon Slice as a recommendation from a friend and was pleasantly surprised. I expected another chic, uppity, inpersonal salon, but not at all. The place looked great, very cozy, and the atmosphere was so fun! While I checked in I was offered wine (which I gladly accepted) and they offered me something to eat. It felt like going to a friends house. Erica was my stylist and she was vey cool with me. Told me exactly what I should have, although she still listened to what I had to say about my hair. When i was done, my highlights looked so natural and just the way I wanted them to come out. Everyone there even chatted with me while I hung out after my appointment finishing my wine. The best part was that it didn't cost me an arm and a leg, totally reasonable pries. I will definately be back and recommend it to my friends! By the way, later that day, I got 3 complimetns on my hair. Made me happy :)
