Wonderful service & treatment for acupuncture!. I've been seeing Jenny for acupuncture treatments to help with hormonal & fertility issues- and truly believe that she helped me get pregnant twice. She is smart, knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. I really enjoy each visit to her office. She's always on time, a great listener & wonderful practitioner.

recharge and rejuvinate. Jennifer has been kind and patient with me and my needle phobia. I now look forward to each appointment. The needles really don't bother me anymore. I know that after each appointment I will be centered and relaxed. Our conversations are insightful and I really like the Zen type music. Acupuncture for Athletes!. I have been a competitive swimmer all my life and recently took a job where I sit behind a computer all day. I did not realize the build-up of stress in my lower back. On May 1st, 2011, I had finally had enough with chronic lower back pain and decided to try acupuncture. Ms. Dubowsky placed needles at distal points - points chosen at a distance from the point of pain. The needles were placed in my arms primarily for back pain and in my head for stress relief. No needle ever touched my back. The tension in my back, especially at the sacral area where the two indentations are in the lower back, disappeared within minutes. After the needle work, I could tell there was still a knot on my left side, and Ms. Dubowsky did cupping right over the spot with pain, and the tension dissolved within minutes (expect a bit of bruising, which is normal). Having been an athlete all my life and exposed to many forms of muscle relief including rub-downs and icy-hot, I would recommend Ms. Dubowsky anytime for relief of aches and pains that come with extreme exercise and/or a sedentary day job!…

Acupuncture for stress relief!. I received an acupuncture treatment from Jenny on May 1st, 2011. I came to her with anxiety and stress, and wanted a stress-relieving treatment. I told her that I had been drinking alcohol more frequently in the past few months, partially to manage my stress, and had noticed a few-pound weight gain. I have chronic lower back pain as well, with a lumbar disk herniation. She began the treatment by looking at my tongue and decided to do a liver chi stagnation treatment as well. She did cupping on my lower back area where I was feeling the pain. I experienced immediate relief from much of the pain in that area.

She then had me lay down and did her thing with the needles, again focusing on eliminating the stagnation in the liver chi and in general stress reduction. After she put each needle in, she asked for some feedback and offered to do any other adjustments/tweaking of the needles to make sure they were in the right spot. She put the needles in slowly and when it reached the correct point you could certainly feel an intense sensation at first and then it would subside as the chi was beginning to flow. She left me for about 30-40 minutes with the needles in.

She also recommended milk thistle for continuing the liver chi energy promotion, and I have started drinking that as a tea. I also got some Chinese herbs for my allergies from her office, which I have been taking for almost 2 weeks. This time of year is usually pretty bad for me with my allergies, and my symptoms have been less intense due to the herbs she gave me.

In general, I thought that my treatment was extremely thorough and she even followed up with me, sending me more information on milk thistle and other things to get the most out of the treatment. Her blog is very informative and I am always learning new things about the benefits of acupuncture. It is obvious that Jenny Dubowski is extremely dedicated to her craft and also to continually improving and expanding her knowledge.…

Absolutely Amazing!. I have been seeing Jennifer for almost a year now. I had just moved back to Chicago from Baltimore and was looking to find a new accupuncturist. I found Jennifer's name on Google and decided to give her a call to see if i could schedule some time to meet with her. She fit me in right away.

She has been amazing since the first time I had treatment from her. I see her for migraines, which can be quite debilitating to say the least.

The best!. Jennifer was just amazing when I came in with shoulder pain! I've tried other practitioners and she really blew them all away. Chicago's top healer. I agree with the MD's review. I too was skeptical and a bit scared of the needles. After a thorough assessment and really LISTENING to me, Jenny planned out a treatment plan for my neck, back and knee pain. She noted that some of my pain was probably related to my new baby that I carry around and was careful to prescribe herbs that would not interfere with breastfeeding.
