We interviewd 9 local firms for our Boston-based gallery. Our management was very impressed with the speed and the pricing of their service, and of course the quality. We've used this tech shop for a few months now, and it looks like we will be with them for a while. Thanks for the good work, keep it up!

Pros: natioanal, quick, 24/7 response

Cons: busy, sometimes we get a different tech

This review will only be relevant to someone trying to use this type of service for the first time or someone who is not very technical. Others will probably think I should have known better. Just in case it helps someone, here it is: The person who provided the service in my home was good and my computer is fixed. The service from the 800 number, not as good. The 800 number told me that 85% of their work is completed within an hour. The problem I described is not what is listed on the work order and it took 3 hours to complete. The person on the phone was also very condesending. My ignorance, but he told me I should have kicked the service provider out if it took longer then I expected. Lesson learned. If you have an urgent business need and are not concerned about the money, I would use them. They were available when I needed them and repaired the computer. However, if you have an issue on your personal computer, I would try someone else. This is only my opinion, but I learned a few things about computer repair through 1-hour computer support and one of them is to look at other service providers. Some if this is "learn the hard way", but a bigger part of my unhappiness is how the person spoke to me. It overall left me with a bad feeling about this company. Note: Although they charge $109 per hour, the customer copy of the invoice lists the technician's rate for the job is $35 per hour. It also says DO NOT discuss your rate with the client - that does not make much sense when they are going to give you that information on your work order.

We run a business-criticall application from our satellite office in San Francisco, and some of our remote equipment was not functioning. Although we used 1 Hour for the first time, and were skeptical about using a company we did not know, we were in a jam so we called them in. Not only was Joseph here in less than 3 hours, but they also dispatched a technitian in SF to look in on our router there, which was the problem. Highly recommend to local Chicago and any businesses in San Francisco - in fact, I think these guys are national. thanks for the stellar job - you've saved us thousands. Hopefully not soon, but we will surely use 1 Hour Support again.

Pros: jack of all trades service

Cons: none
