Great for catch any Soccer match and Food is great there too. I found out about this place bc a friend of mine booked a at party here in their new private party room that has its own bar and activities from a large projection tv to games etc. Awesome place to book a party bc you have your own private room and the package deal price for what my friend told was very cheap. I was very happy to find out that I can find any soccer match I want to see here and all other sporting events. Plus the Atlantic Bar's food is very good & economy friendly. Their specials of the day for drinks and food are always very good and cheap! I look for to seeing the Atlantic bar more often now!…
North Center Bar. I visited the Atlantic when it first opened and discovered that the Irish owner knows first hand about Irish pubs. Almost as if planning for the future, this place has supplanted a Lincoln Park or Wrigleyville quality bar into the north-of-Lawrence Lincoln corridor. I keep going back because of friendly staff. They also have food, the Atlantic salmon is good, and the Shepard's pie is hearty. Don't forget to ask for the daily specials. Evident true Irish culture and friendliness has echoes of certain south side Irish bars, but these are Cub fans and everyone is welcome. This place is ideal for locals in this area, but also draws the international crowd seeking a true Irish pub. (Which football is on today?) It's modern and new in terms of flatscreen tv's but old fashioned in the ways of tending bar. There is plenty of space for private parties or high volume nights in the back, which is a cross between a game room and speakeasy. Darts, foosball, "bags" in the summer, softball teams, mmm beer...…
Best Irish pub in town. I have to say, when I walked in to the Sunday Night live Irish music, I felt i was teleported directly to the Emerld isle itself. The food is tops, bartending as well, I just love going here. You will too!!! Just a couple blocks north of the western brownline stop, mere minutes from the square, you can't been the warm reception you will recieve here.…
Neighborhood watering hole with Irish eats, pristinely poured black and tans and plenty of sports-tuned flat-screens..
In Short
Maroon tones, a flickering fireplace and pictures of boats, the Atlantic Ocean and Ireland make settling in at the mahogany bar a welcoming experience. Flat-screen TVs flicker
with sporting events--from rugby to football and soccer--while the kitchen churns out crab cakes, burgers and Guinness-battered fish and chips to neighborhood professionals, frat boys and local couples. More inventive fare includes slow-cooked short ribs and chocolate bread pudding.…
Great Location, Great Food and Fun Staff make this a Lincoln Square winner.. Both the front and back bars are comfortable and roomy. The staff is very helpful and always ready to serve you with a smile. The crab cakes are special and the soups are filling.
