Great Margaritas, great Employees!!!

Went in recently after a game and had a monster 24oz Corona. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Food was great and everone working there was so nice. I would recommend it to anyone. Very clean and updates since the last time I was there.

  • Pros: Awsome food and Margaritas

Horrible Owner/Manager

by TommyGunz

This place is horrible. The owner and his goon kept harassing the girls we were with. The margaritas were not that good, they had too much sour mix and not enough tequila. The food was not that good either, they're kitchen looks dirty and the bathrooms smelled like urine. The music was good, good enough in fact that the owner kept grabbing and groping the girls at our table. When they refused to dance with the little oompa-loompa or Tony Montana they got mad and kicked us all out. I will never give them my money ever again. This guy is going to end up getting the pants sued off of him!

  • Pros: The D.J.
  • Cons: The owner and his goon, the food.

Bad owner

by Baggytime

The owner touched my find in a wrong way. She kindly asked him to stop so he kicked her out. I don't know about you but when you walk into a place spending money, you should be treated with respect. Not the exact opposite. Please don't go here.

Most FUN place on Clark St.

by rjimmyk

Fiesta Cantina is the best place to go for margaritas in Wrigleyville. The bartenders are so friendly and not at all pretentious. If you want to have a good time and feel like you're at a party, then go to Fiesta Cantina!!!

  • Pros: Different then any other bar on Clark St.

Rico Suave has to go!!!

by rogerinthecity

I was invited to a friends Birthday party and "UN-lucky" for us they picked this place"Cantina" out of all the other bars on the strip, everything was going just fine, the food was o k, we ordered Quesadillas, pretty tasty but kinda plain looking....getting a little cheap on the presentation, the prices were not bad and yes those Margaritas are as deadly as ever... the second floor was not even open.... on a Saturday night? .

The Dj was really good, some of the best mixing I've heard even in the clubs Downtown...everyone was having a really good time until these two clowns started to harass our table, one short fat guy who claimed to be the owner...(he made sure we all got his Biz. card and offered every female on our group a job there...are you serious??) and this other Rico Suave wannabe the two most intoxicated people in the whole place.. they would not stop screaming HEY!..there was no security, no manager on duty...who's in charge of this place anyways?...What a joke, we could not get these idiots to shut up and leave our table alone, we finally decided to leave when the short fat "owner" took off his shirt and cursed everyone out...disgusting!

Overall...I would ask the Management to clean the place up...the food was ok, the drinks are good, the DJ was great, the service was slow, that's because the two drunks would not stop forcing the poor waitress to dance with them instead of taking care of the tables, the place looks nice in a cheese fake Mexican sort of way, nice TV's ( all on the same channel...get a remote!)The bathrooms are located in the basement..BAD BAD idea...Try opening the 2nd floor...You can have a nice time there but...Rico Suave has to go!!....Before someone gets hurt.

  • Pros: Great Margaritas, best DJ, good food
  • Cons: No Parking, bathrooms are awful

Sultry Mexican lounge in the heart of Wrigleyville takes a break from beer and baseball.

by Contributor

In Short
Margaritas reign supreme at this Mexican lounge, a welcome excuse from the pubs and bar scene of Clark Street. The upstairs lounge often features live acts, open mic nights and salsa dancing. Playful Tex-Mex/Mexican fare fuels the late-night crowd--especially since the kitchen stays open until 1am each night. DJs start the weekend early on Thursday with sets of techno, trance and electronic beats.
