Seven-tiered wedding cakes and novelty cartoon pastries catch the eyes of passers by who stroll past this Loop cafe, but the inner sanctum reveals more than just desserts. Loopers who lunch know this place for its Mexican specialties: tamales, taquitos and tortas. Go figure. The owners also operate another bakery in Pilsen.
