Amazing cuts, color, style and overall experience! Norayne is incredibly talented and always takes the time to listen to her clients which is evident in the beautiful results. I would recommend her highly to anyone!

The first words that come to mind when I describe the way I feel after my experience at Norayne's Studio Salon is, "absolutely beautiful!" Also I must add, energized, refreshed, stunning and radiant! These are all of the things you too will feel once you get the chance to receive Norayne's one-on-one personalized, and not to mention, all together friendly and FUN salon service, and THAT'S a promise! Let me give you a perfect example of one of many of her personalized services I speak of; I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and before I started traveling down to her salon she would bring her professional services right to my house! Who could possibly have asked for more?!! Well let me tell you, though her visits to my house were nice and convenient I never could have imagined just how much more I was missing out on by not visiting her at her salon. The minute you walk in it's like you have just entered into your very own private world of primping and pampering without you ever having to lift a finger to achieve that perfect look and feel, and that's because Norayne is there to do that all for you. From the initial consultation right down to the finished end product, and all the other little perks in-between such as the stocked refreshments refrigerator, television, fun music, and comfy atmosphere, Norayne definitely knows exactly how to offer you the ultimate salon experience! I say give her services a whirl because I know you'll be more than happy that you did! I know I was! Three thumbs up for Norayne's Studio Salon!

I found Norayne on a whim; I was new to Chicago and had no idea where to go so I happened upon her shop via Citysearch. I am so glad I did! Norayne is friendly, personable, and welcoming. She is laid-back in her approach but she makes sure she knows what you want before she goes to work and she is a master of her craft. You know when you have an idea of what you want, but you can't quite describe it or find the perfect picture, but you really want your stylist to get it just right? That's what Norayne does. She got my color PERFECT when I said, "well..... I kind of what it blonde, but not too blonde, but with a little brown.... but I still want it blonde overall.... and maybe some copper." She took that and made it EXACTLY what I had imagined. I always get compliments on my hair when I get my hair done with Norayne and I won't go anywhere else but to her. She also beats out the over-priced and overrated salons/spas because besides the personal attention she gives, she also isn't pushy with product. If she asks you what product you use, it isn't so she can then launch into a sales pitch for whatever product she has; she's asking because she wants to know. She will certainly make recommendations if you ask but she won't push anything on you. Norayne will always go the extra mile for you and will make sure you are comfortable when you are with her - I have been to see her 4 times now and my only regret is that I waited until now to write this review! She is so much fun and excellent at what she does. She is a hidden gem in the city of Chicago and a DEFINITE up-and-comer.

Pros: excellent at her craft, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive

Cons: none from my perspective!

Not only is she very good at what she does- She is passionate about it. I walk in and Norayne takes charge- she gives me a couple of choices that she thinks would work for my coloring and personality, I make my choice, and from there I sit back, relax, and let the hairapy begin. I look forward to each session. Did I mention that she has a stocked fridge with anything from bottled water to wine? ! You owe it to yourself to make an appointment.

Pros: it's not an appointment! Its an experience.

If you are looking for a true hair artist, then you must visit Norayne’s Studio Salon. I visited her for the first time to get my hair done for a wedding I was attending. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but Lorayne was able to figure out the perfect hair do within minutes of me seating on the hair salon chair. I couldn’t be happier with my hair (I received so many compliments at the wedding) and even happier with the price (15% off as a first time visitor!!).

Pros: great stylist, great price

As a newly transplated New Yorker i had no idea where to find a stylist in Chicago. I'm so happy I found Norayne! She worked with my hair and face shape to create a look that fit me and my personality. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great new stylist.

She really is wonderful. She is sweet, funny, hip, and extremely talented. She sacrificed her time to fix the mess I had created with my hair. She did a fantastic job. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you so much Norayne.

I am not usually one to give a write up ,but YOU have to go to Norayne's Studio Salon!!! I use to be blonde and then went dark. I enjoyed it for some time but was ready to get my blonde back. I have tried SO many Salons and haven't been happy with the outcome. My hair always looked really gold and sometimes orange and brassy. When I explained this to Norayne she explained what she was going to do and by gosh....SHE DID IT!!!!! I love my hair and my CUT just put the cherry on the sundae!! I will never go anywhere else again. You MUST see her. If you have any reservations she will explain in full detail what she is going to do and you will have total faith in her. You won't regret it. She is the best stylist I have ever met!!!!!!

I just received highlights and lowlights - love them! They look good with my complexion. My daughter received lots of highlights. She's just 16 so she wanted a more dramatic look. She loves her hair! Norayne talked to us beforehand to make sure that she did what was right for us. She did a fantastic job! I have fine hair. The cut Norayne gave me looks good - and it's easy to take care of. Norayne has a very comfortable salon. She is fun and easy to talk to. If you want personal attention and a great hair experience, Norayne's Studio Salon is definitely the place to go!!

Pros: cozy, comfortable, lots of attention

Best haircut & color I've ever had! Norayne is awesome - loved the whole experience and the end result was fantastic ... found Norayne on citysearch randomly and so happy I did! I also got a great new hair straightener she recommended! Thanks Norayne!
