Korean eatery banks on its juicy bulgogi and kimchi for a mostly takeout crowd in Uptown.

This mostly take-out venture--just a stone's throw from the El--features a bustling, open kitchen and a tiny dining room with bright yellow walls, vibrant local art and rickety seating. Spice levels are kept to a minimal burn for standards like kimchi pancakes, kalbi and bulgogi. Other dishes range from dumplings filled with seasoned ground beef to kook-soo vegetable soup with rice noodles in mild or spicy broth.
