The PERFECT Party- In Every Which Way of These Women's Lives

Just notes of thanks for having your place open to me, my friends and family to celebrate my special day!!

I had with me friends I made from Flirty Girl and friends that I wanted to experience Flirty Girl and what a great feeling that place offers! On top of that, having Naledi host the pole dancing session was icing on the cake to make that experience even BETTER…

I was dressed pretty SCANTILY CLAD that night, and felt like a MILLION BUCKS….I surely could not have done that without the empowerment of your facility, staff and members!! Having my friends (who are NOT members) see me and just look at me in COMPLETE AWE of my transformation of the woman I have become….just built my confidence even more! There was one girlfriend of mine that felt so “underdressed”, she completely modified her outfit by tying her pants around her legs!!

Now, onto the party…

The reception/bar staff was quite sweet and accommodating to all my participants and kept that “LIQUID COURAGE” coming!!

Naledi made a very HUGE impact to a lot of my non-member friends as follows:

Ø They left there talking about all the new moves they can do to show their “guys”, especially, since they graduated from “The School of Bootiology” (as Naledi put it)

Ø My much younger cousin, a college graduate from Columbia for Film-Editing, who needed to surround herself with a more positive environment of hard working women (in lieu of hanging our with her peers that have NO direction), could not stop talking and kept questioning about how Naledi became who she is today….with what limited knowledge I knew of Naledi, I expressed to my cousin to not stop what she is truly passionate about…

Ø One of my good friends, who took a previous pole class, and was VERY INTIMIDATED and was very hesitant to come to my party…she came that night convinced that another attempt at the pole will confirm her fears….however, Naledi took the time to explain how she started being scared of the pole and that fate forced her to overcome her fears, and by that, my friend paid attention, and achieved a FULL FIREMAN SPIN…she was jumping with excitement and wouldn’t stop talking about it all night…she will definitely be back!

Ø Another friend, who just NEEDED an excuse to get out and show herself off after having her baby, has now bought a punch card to do more classes, ESPECIALLY Naledi’s!!

Ø And of course, my peeps from Flirty Girl, were very happy to show all the moves and tricks they have learned under Naledi’s many months of instruction, which in turn, amazed my friends to want to come back and get as good as them!! You know they had to take pictures of all they could do, and they were happy to show what Flirty Girl has brought out of them!

With the fabulous establishment, instructor, staff, and good friends I made at Flirty Girl to inspire those I love most to be them and have fun….my party was PERFECT!! Thanks again!!

DO NOT book a private party here

I had a party here recently. Our group was very excited and many people even drove three hours to be there. The staff would not allow two members of my party to participate in the class. The staff then expected us to pay the $80 to cover for the people they wouldn't allow! We spent nearly an hour before our scheduled class debating the unfairness of this with people with zero customer service skills. The desk staff is the most unfriendly, unhelpful lot I've ever encountered. I hope you never have to deal with them. However, the instructor herself was pleasant and a made for an enjoyable evening.

Totally Unintimidating

M'lady the instructor makes you lose your inhibitions and feel beautiful even if you are 30lbs. over weight and can't get any height when you attempt to jump on the pole. Music is loud and crowd is fun and inviting. Plus there are so many other kinds of classes to try -- so glad I finally got out of my comfort zone and tried it. I'll be back soon!

Fun class

I took a pole dancing class. Though it was in the middle of the day, it was quite busy. The instructor was very fun and gave many pointers. She catered to different levels of students and was very encouraging.

Tons of Fun!!

This was so much fun!! I got roped into going to Flirty Girl by my friend who was visiting from out of town. I do not freely shake it in front of strangers, so it took some coaxing to get me into the place. There was a bit of confusion because we thought we were signing up for the Lapdancing class (using a chair) and instead we got the chair fit class. Let me just tell you, it is totally different!! If we were not expecting to just be shaking our booties on a chair, the class would have gone over much better with me!! The Chair Fit was an incredible workout, though!! I feel every muscle (in a good way)!! You used the chair, but there was no dancing involved. The instructor was a little hard to hear though. She had a microphone that she shouted into most of the class and I could not see her very well. After we were finished, the girls at the front desk asked us how our class was and I told her it was the not the class we thought we signed up for. She was upset that we did not get the class we wanted, and signed us up for the Lapdancing class the next day for free!! She was so helpful!! Sooo..... the Lapdancing class was all we hoped it would be-a ton of fun!! It was not embarrassing at all!! Big and little alike (I am in the middle) shook it like they had it!! It was a blast!! I am definitely up for the pole dancing now!! They also have a really good deal for a punchcard that I will be taking advantage of. I am not a typical "Flirty Girl", but this place is definitely bringing out my wilder side!!

• Cons: hard to see/hear instructor

Flirty Girl Fitness

I absolutely love flirty girl! The decor is fabulous and there are an abundance of classes to choose from that are exciting. The events such as Beach Booty are fabulous! I also attended an event last fall that included one class, a mini pedicure/manicure, hair styling, makeup, open bar, and appetizers, for just $25!!!!!

• Pros: It gives a twist to working out!
• Cons: The memberships are slightly expensive.

Can't decide if I want to go back or not...

I AM NOT A PRETTY N PINK TYPE OF GAL, but I always wanted to take Pole dancing at FGF. I had been apprehensive due to the steep [drop -in] class rates and the 1 yr. monthly membership commitment requirement.

I completely UNDERESTIMATED Pole dancing!! I am sore, I feel motivated to work out more. I even looked up at home fitness poles, but I have my complaints about FGF, and thus I cannot decide if it is worth the investment...especially since I cannot commute monthly to benefit from the obligatory 1 yr. membership prerequisite.

I would give FGF 5 stars for its effective innovation and creativity in regards to getting women into shape, but I gave it 3 stars because there are many improvements that need to implemented in order for it to be on par with its prices!! If I pay Lakeshore and East Bank prices, I want that treatment and environment as well!

Pros: Location is good and free parking is even better! There are tons of classess. It definitely is nice to not have men around so that you are not as self conscious or distracted. It is a great total body workout without the agonizing same boring tread mill routine! There are showers and a locker room, but it is small and quite uncomfortable! I AM DEFINITELY MOTIVATED TO GET BACK IN SHAPE!

Cons: As much as I enjoyed the class, the instructor did not put forth much EFFORT to actually teach us the class! She needed proper training for an upscale gym. Maybe I am just use to the peace and serenity of bikram, but if I pay good money for a workout, I want my oasis, not tipsy and loud women on top of BLASTING music. you cannot hear a word the instructor is saying. You cant see her either since the room is horizontally shaped and learning a fast paced routine via mirror is impossible. Some people are not visual learners...they need the audio as well. The drop in prices are ridiculous and none of my friends want to commit to a 1 yr. contract. I will have to investigate more to see if the maturity level and professionalism is better during the day. Not to mention I waited 15 minutes at the bar for a bottled drink.

I bet that if FGF improved a few of their trouble areas, not only could they diversify their demographic, but they could increase their sales too. Its truly an ingenious idea to get women in shape!

• Cons: Overpriced, Loud and crowded, Unprofessional

I can't wait

It's my Birthday month and I want to try something new and It looks like I will have a whole lot of fun. I especially want to take interest in the Pole Dancin LOL I can't wait to come visit :)

Great gym

I just found out about this place - its like a dream come true. I am so glad I found them - its exactly what I look for in a girls gym.

Very fun workout

I work out regularly but have been looking for something new. I went to Diana's pole dancing class and had so much fun! It makes you want to become really good at it. She's great and helps you along the way, but also makes it challenging for the more experienced girls.

Highly recommended!
