Kudos - They have helped us tremendously

I bought into a new building of 40 units and moved into one of the last handful of units to be sold. The initial group of owners wanted to try handling everything ourselves....

Long story short we ended up having half of our owners severely behind in their monthly dues, no money, and a lot of fighting. We finally interviewed 4 different management companies and for us Connected Managers were by far the most advanced company and actually ended up being the lowest cost of all 4. We talked to a lot of people ahead of time and they have been around for a long time and have a very good reputation. We were very concerned about a company having full access to our funds and also wanted to make sure that the company we chose would not go out of business. CM had the best overall feedback and they have ended up living up to their reputation.

I am writing this as a thank you for all of their hard work over the past year. They came in and advised us on what to do, took over everything and got our finances in order and collected all of the past due money. If you are having any issues with your HOA I would definitely talk to them to see if they can help. It has been well worth it and saved us.

• Pros: Very knowledgable, Very fast, Lowest price we could find
• Cons: Nothing to really complain about

Horrible Company-Wish I could give ZERO stars

I have had issues with my apartment that needed to be fixed right away, and they never call back ever, last time my dishwasher broke, it took a MONTH to get someone on the phone. This whole company is a joke, I don't know who gave this place 5 stars, it is probably people from the company. This is a bogus company, and I have no choice but to use them. In a time where a lot of people need work it is a shame that shady people have jobs and good people are out.

• Pros: Nothing
• Cons: Do not return phone calls.

This company is a joke. It should be called Three Stooges Property Management. The do not return phone calls, or emails, and are so cheap they will not send out bills.

Great relief for home owners associations

Our assigned management team has taken over all of the time consuming work so we just review the reports and tell them of any changes or work we want performed. David and the rest of the team are fast to respond to our questions and have everything automatic. I have worked with a different management company in my last condominium complex and cannot tell you how much better our new service is. We love these guys.

• Cons: Nothing big in our minds

Great choice for condominium boards

Our director board hired Connected based on recommendations from other condo owners that use their service. They really are amazing. They offered much more than other companies and dont charge for most of the small things that other companys told us are never free. Our manager is very smart and finds answers to all of our questions. I have told some of my friends that live in condos to have their board change to them and they have been happy to. Good choice.

• Pros: Do all of the work for the association, smart, good service, more included for free
• Cons: Their office is in lincoln park which takes long to get to.

Solid rental management offering

This company has a solid overall management strategy as I stated in the headline. They understand the rental market of this city and have well designed processes that make sense. I transferred five properties to the firm three years ago, all of which contain section 8 tenants which can be very challenging. Connected knows the section 8 nuances and has consistently been able to find decent tenants in a short time frame. I must admit they have made a nice impact to the income of my portfolio and have decreased my delinquency rates. The key is that they are very diligent in their processes such as rent collection. I should also mention that their operations team have been excellent in their communication with myself and the tenants.

As a long time rental property owner and someone who has used other management firms in the past, I would firmly recommend their management services to any investor.

• Pros: Solid overall management strategy, fantastic customer service and communication, fill vacancies extremely fast
• Cons: I would always like to see lower pricing though they are on the lower end, no service in suburbs

Great service to me and my tenents

Since my very first interaction with Connected through signing my apartments with them they have given me everything I need and provided excellent service to me and to my tenants. I was not happy with another property management company I had used so I ended up managing my places for a while and it was a real struggle. I'm so happy to have found these guys and I'm so happy not to have to deal with managing my properties. If you have properties and want to feel comfortable that you can leave your place in good hands then check these guys out.

• Cons: Can't think of any.

Very pleased with results

Managing properties has always been a necessary evil, but I've never given too much thought about using a company to manage for me. I've heard nothing but bad news in the past from people using managers. A close friend recommended this company and I must say they are very strong. I was able to get a very low management fee and having all of the stress off my back has been well worth every penny. I highly recommend this company.

• Pros: Very low costs, great performance and completion on all requirements, great customer service.
• Cons: Nothing yet
