Unethical Business Practices. Working with the Moving Experts was a total disaster. My move from Los Angeles to Chicago was contracted out to a company called Elite Moving who upon looking at my 1 bedroom apartment, told me that the quote given by my Moving Expert "consultant" was completely wrong. After nearly double the expense that was quoted to me my apartment was packed.

I was forced to sign a waiver stating that I would not under any circumstances retract the payment on my credit card. I reluctantly signed the waiver and my goods were on their way to Chicago. Upon arrival at my apartment, the company created $650 of additional expenses which I had not signed for, and forced me to fax in a copy of my credit card to pay. They held my goods hostage for 3 hours on the truck until I paid and would not let my fiancé sign for me. Additionally, their employees were unable to provide documentation of legal status, which was a requirment for the condo association.

This was the most unprofessional organization I have ever worked with and would never recommend them to anyone. They overcharged me by nearly $3000, were rude, poorly managed and late on delivery.

Total failure, and when I asked to be elevated to a higher level of management, "Joe" was on vacation until the following week. Flat out terrible company.…

Excellent Service. I used The Moving Experts for my relocation & I was very happy with the service they provided me. They were upfront with their services & costs etc, although they were not the cheapest company out there but it was very well worth every penny spent. The movers were on time, professional, & my price did not change with them. I would definetly use them again & refer all my friends & family if they are ever in need for a out of state move. If you are considering these guys, you should read.... I want to share my experience with The Moving Experts Inc and Elite Moving Company. If you are looking for a moving company, you may want to read this. We decided to use the Moving Experts for our move from San Francisco, CA to Seattle, WA, and I have regretted it ever since.

We were told that they would pick up our things in a 3 day window – which they did. The driver told my wife that we would get a call in a couple of days to let us know when our things would be delivered. We were told that the movers had 14 business days to deliver our things but “it never takes that long unless there is bad weather or something.” While we didn’t want to wait 3 weeks, we decided as a worse-case scenario, we could live with it.

With only a few days left in the 14 business day delivery window, I started to get concerned and called The Moving Experts Inc who told me my delivery had yet to be scheduled and that my belongings were still in their warehouse in Las Vegas, NV. Apparently, they were waiting to have a full truckload of stuff heading to Seattle before they scheduled my delivery.

When I inquired about the 14 business day delivery window we had been promised, they said they actually had 30 business days to deliver our things if we would just read the very small print on our contract…a contract that they had us sign when they picked up our things that was different than the original one we signed when we committed to using them.

It finally took over 20 business days – almost an entire month to move our things from San Francisco to Seattle – the reward for our patience? A broken entertainment center that is now unusable and a poker table that somehow went missing.

If you are searching for a moving company that is good, then I wish you luck and suggest you look elsewhere. The Moving Experts Inc and Elite Moving Company are not good. They are not honest. They are not dependable, and they are not worth your money. Look elsewhere – I hope you are able to avoid the trouble and stress that my wife and I had to endure in this company.…

Moving Experts - Definitely recommended. Moving experts helped me with my relocation to Sedona AZ. I accepted job offer that unfortunately did not include the moving expenses and had to pay for this move from my own pocket. The Moving Expert’s price was not the cheapest price out there and therefore they were not my first choice of the company, but after talking to their representative and getting all the information about their company and on how to prepare all my things the right way for the move, I seen that this is a better company for me. All the other places had charges like packing, shuttle and fuel, the same as this company – but non-of them bothered to even mention these charges till I questioned them. Experts was the only company that informed me about these charges and they were the only company that explained in great detail on what can I do prior to the move to avoid these charges. I am pleased with this company, they are honest people and not trying to take your last dime.…

Fast and Efficient. Moving is not easy – we all know it, but this company did all they could to make it easier on out family. We had to move because my husband lost his job and was not able to find different job in our hometown for several months. Moving experts understood all my problems, offered me a discount on this move and even gave several free boxes which I appreciated. The moving man that did the job were careful with my furniture and worked quickly and efficiently. The delivery was prompt and within the promised time and I did get a proper notice before the movers arrived.…

Brilliant Job!. I spoke with Danielle from the moving experts in regards to my moving request. Danielle made me feel very comfortable about using her company, and informed me of many cost that other companies never mentioned. Becuase of this I decided to move with the moving experts.

A day before my move the movers called me to confirm my pick up window for the next day. They arrive during that window and started to gather my belongings together. They did inform me that I had a few extra boxes (which I did) and had to charge me around $50.00 more. I was happy that they told me about this cost before they moved it on the truck so I could decide to keep it or not. There were no extra rates and the extra space I took was at the same price as they told me orginally. ( I've see so many stories when I was researching that movers will give a higher rate on the pick up) Danielle insurred me that would not happen, and she kept her word.

I had a 14 day delivery window, and received my stuff in about 7 business days. The movers called me the day before again to tell me when they would deliver. When my stuff reached me in IL everything looked as it did when it left. This company was very professional and knowledgable and would recommend them to anyone reading.…
