Best Workout I've Ever Had!!
by Viejita23 at Citysearch
I started going to Helios in October and fell in love with the environment, the intense workouts, and my instuctors Jill and Molly. I've never been pushed so hard in my life, but was extremely satisfied with the results :)

I Finally Enjoy My Workout!!!!!
by EIA at Citysearch
I have been going to Helios for about a year, and I can honestly say that it has changed my life and my body. I am more flexible, stronger, and more toned. I finally found a routine that I actually like to do. My instructor Molly is a tremendous motivator she always pushes me to do my best, never lets me give up and makes my workouts fun. I still can't believe that I actually got results from my work out regimen and that I enjoy it.
- Pros: Experienced Instructor, friendly staff & a great environment
- Cons: none

I started going to Helios just over a year ago and it was the best thing I ever did. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel welcomed. My instructor Molly is AWESOME!!! She keeps my workouts interesting & fun and always pushes me to do a little more each time. My muscles are so much stronger and I am able to do moves that I never thought I would. I really look forward to my weekly sessions!!!
- Pros: Friendly Environment; Knowledgeable Instructors
- Cons: None
Great Workout from Empowering Helios Ladies
by Lia M at Citysearch
I found Helios by accident a few years ago looking for a Pilates studio in Chicago. I've since tried a number of others in the neighborhood, and no one holds a candle to these ladies! The ower Jenna and her team are so well educated, and they practice a unique type of pilates called "the Fletcher method," which focuses not only on your muscles getting a good workout, but also on your breath, your posture, and your overall functional movement. I'm narrower from both the front AND the side, and my arms have a "cut" line - which is pretty impressive from one very white girl! I wouldn't trade this place and my twice weekly visits.
- Pros: Great workout, Convenient Hours (early / late / weekends)
Look forward to my classes every week!

I've been attending classes at Helios since January 2009 and I have loved every single class I've experienced - floor, mat, reformer, chair, etc. Jenna, Molly and Jill are all FABULOUS! I've been in sports and worked out my whole life, yet I've still seen great results from the classes here. My muscles are stronger than ever before and I swear I've grown a 1/2 inch - not bad for a girl who is 5'0"! ;) Absolutely LOVE Helios and their instructors too.
- Pros: Best instructors, Great atmosphere, Friendly, Great workout
- Cons: Absolutley None!
Can't go a week without a class at this studio

Working out has been a part of my life for 15 years and I have tried everything. It wasn't until I started Fletcher Pilates studio that I truly found a work out that I love and that actually impacts my body and life. The instructors are amazing and knowledgeable!!!
Great instructors

After unsuccesfully treating a hip condition through traditional physical therapy, I started sessions at Helios to improve my hip strength and mobility - and stay in shape for my upcoming wedding, since my usual running routine wasn't possible! Not only did my hip significantly improve, but i was able to shave inches off my waist and feel great at my wedding. Molly is an incredible instructor who helps achieve your goals and pushes you hard, but knows how to have fun with the sessions too!
- Pros: Personalized attention, good equipment & results
- Cons: expensive hobby - in general, not just Helios
Changed my life!

I first went into Helios a yr ago. I was ready to really turn my body into a well oiled machine after experiencing issues with my back for years. The trainers here are very supportive and knowledgeable. I overcame my obstacles quickly under Kristine’s personal instruction and became the person I've always wanted to be physically, and pain free! I'm grateful for the guidance and inspiration from here. Rock on gals!
- Pros: experienced and delightful trainers that motivate you!
- Cons: I'm on the other side of the world now :-/

I would highly recommend Helios Center for Movement to anyone looking for a great workout to get your bod in better shape! The studio is extremely clean and the workouts vary from class to class in order to keep things interesting. I love Kristine as instructor; she is professional, friendly, upbeat and not at all intimidating. Your body will thank you after you discover this little gem in Roscoe Village!
- Pros: Great workout, easy parking, friendly instructors, extremely clean
- Cons: A little pricey
Fabulous Pilates Studio and Instruction
by ljb64 at Citysearch
This is the first review I've ever written, but I feel it is important to share a wonderful experience. After taking Pilates classes at health clubs for several years, I was interested in taking instruction at a studio and learning to use the Pilates machines. With names like the Cadlllac, Reformer and Wonda-Chair, who wouldn't be curious? Jenna, the owner of Helios, is an extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and inspirational instructor. She really knows her stuff and has a lovely way of imparting her vast knowledge to others, at any level. The studio is clean, bright and well-equipped. There's a wide variety of classes. As a mat Pilates novice/intermediate, I felt that I was in really good hands, was learning excellent form, inspired to improve my practice and had a new Pilates home that I would never outgrow.
