The folks who run this place have an obvious contempt for the customer. Way overpriced, lame beer list, and the food nearly brought me to seizure. It's a good size space it's too bad they have no clue on how to utilize it. But the real crime is the staff. I'd rather have sulfuric acid thrown in my face than have to deal with those.....people again. It's their slothful ways that are obviously a byproduct of living under communism. Still, you're in the USA now! Get to Work! Have you never heard the expression "Work will make you Free"? Any positive reviews here are most certainly written by management. Have these people no shame?
Pros: They don't actually slug you in the face.
Cons: I'd rather be slugged in the face.

This cookie cutter standard issue pseudo-irish pub left me cold. Was it the overpriced drinks and food? Was it the terrible service from the disinterested staff? Perhaps it was the sterile environment or the room temp appetizers we were eventually served. I just can't put my finger on it. The crowd is lame. Try getting a root canal instead I'm certain you'll have more fun.
Pros: They take American currency.
Cons: I'd rather have acid thrown in my face than hang there again.

This place is a typical faux Irish wannabe bar. Beer selection is terrible. Food is completely standard bar fare. What I can't understand is the terrible music. Why with a place that invested so much in infrastructure would play the Mix? Listening to commercials? Don't fret...there's enough TVs (13 from where I sat) so you don't have to talk with the people you are with. This bar belongs nowhere near Lincoln Square...perhaps Lincoln Park or Wrigleyville or in the Suburbs. The city doesn't need another Applebee's knockoff. If you like anything original, inventive or fun, then stay away from this travesty of a bar.
Pros: Good looking bar; not crowded
Cons: Terrible service, lackluster drinks, uninspired

I had read some bad reveiws about this place but since I was in the area I decided to check it out myself. I must say it is a gorgeus bar that they obviously put a lot of money into( granite and LCD's everywhere and a HUGE fish tank ) and the service was pretty good, but the food was OUTSTANDING! I tried the gnocchi and the Beef wellington( nice to see on a menu) and realized this was no average bar food, I will be back because my eye is on the salmon dish that the table next to me kept going on and on about...nice job O'splaine's you will see me again!
Pros: FOOD,FOOd,FOOD

Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. Food is terrible; service is not much better. This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.
