He fixed my back. My back has always been a problem and I went in to see Dr Halliday to have it checked out. Turns out I had a small disc bulge as seen on an MRI. First time's a charm!. I've never been to a chiropractor before but my mom goes regularly and has since I was a kid. My dad's a medical doctor so if he says it's a good idea, I trust him as well. So, with bad neck pain, I took the plunge, found chicago body works on this site and met with Dr Halliday. He has a really good bedside manner and made me feel instantly comfortable. He has a wife and kids which made me feel even more comfortable (is this just my weird quirk?)

Terrified to Terrific. To be frank, I checked out The Chicago Body Works for the massage. I was intimidated by chiropractic with all the cracking. Turns out I was ill-informed about it all. Sure, the massage has been GREAT --- but after meeting Dr Halliday, he was so nice and cool, I decided to give him a try. I'm glad I did too. I would give 6 stars .... Before I get into it, I want to say that I have no relation to this practice except that I'm a patient/client there. That being said, I have to "sing the praises" of the Chicago Body Works! My experience was unlike my previous visits to chiropractors - I entered to a warm welcome, was offered tea and immediately felt "at home". After some brief paperwork, I met with Dr Halladay, a super-nice man with a great energy about him! After some getting to know-ya (yes, he is actually interested in YOU as well as your spine), it was onto an examination. He told me exactly what was happening with my neck and back, how it would be fixed and recommended some massage along with the adjustments! Not expecting this pleasant surprise (who's going to turn down a massage), I was elated. But no more so than during and after the treatment. To make a long story short, I had a good working-over and left the office with a smile on my face, a spring in my step, and most importantly, no pain! Even better than advertised. I have become pretty picky about chiropractors since I have had some bad experiences in the past. So I choose carefully and follow the reviews (which I'd recommend trying). This place came with very high ratings and now I know why. Dr Halliday is a fine person to have a conversation with (about really anything on your mind, it seems he knows something about) but more importantly, he is just a great doctor. I felt immediate relief of my headache and neck ache after his treatment. And, just as miraculous, he didn't insist on me coming in for 30 visits.
