Me and my girls were out for a girls nite out and we got board at 2 other bars, so we went to Uncle fattys!
we walked in the place was packed the music was jammin and everybody was dancin and havin a great time. Next thing I know i'm pulled up on stage with about 5 other girls and I'm dancin with the band on stage. Then they tossed this Giant blown up monkey out ....and it was crowd surfing...too funny. the drinks were strong the band was tight. By the end of the night I think i fell in love like 10 times, then we tried to steal the monkey but they stopped us at the door, lol!
Hope to get back to this totally happening club again soon.
Gotta find out when party freak is coming back they were too much fun.
Thank you Uncle fattys Chicago has needed a cool new club for aawhile, see you at the next party.
Peace out!
p.s. go to fattys!
- Pros: everybody was having fun
- Cons: need more wait staff
College spring break goes on permanent repeat at this wild below-street-level cantina.

In Short
The unlikely basement corner spot (former Cherry Red) doesn't in the least inhibit the effort to replicate a Cancun beach bar. The floor is astroturf, plywood or sand, and interior surfaces are covered in tiki-type wood, thatch or loud swaths of turquoise paint. Neon is big, too. Unsurprisingly, the young, beer-swilling crowd is rowdy, pounding cervezas and mammoth tropical concoctions to well-worn rock, pop and rap. The occasional cover band or reggae set mixes things up, but the focus is more beach bash than live music venue.
