Wonderful Salon!

I have been to many different stylists over the years, but then after moving down to chicago for school I decided it would be best to find a good stylist in the city. Well, I found Melissa, a GREAT stylist.

I followed Melissa here from her old salon, and as soon as I walked into this salon for the first time I was amazed by how beautiful and relaxing it was. But what brings me back every time is the haircuts that Melissa gives. She listens to what you want and adds in her own expertise to create a style and a cut that is perfect for you. I cannot see myself going to anyone else!

I have yet to experience the spa downstairs, but from all of the rave reviews hopefully I will be able to treat myself to some spa services sometime soon!

Best Massage Ever!!!!

Michael has been coloring and cutting my hair for the last few years. He is absolutely wonderful! Recently, I tried a massage there, and my massage therapist, Cyril, was fantastic. It was the best massage I ever had. He was completely professional and I felt so relaxed. I can't wait until my next appointment.

great facial / waxing!

I work close to the spa and I got a facial and had some waxing last week - it was excellent. The spa is beautiful, I felt so relaxed when I was downstairs by the fireplace. Ali was great at waxing (eyebrows) and she gave me a great facial, gave me great information and suggestions for my skin - my skin looks the best it has in awhile. Overall, I had a great experience and I will definitely try more services there!

AMAZING SPA!

I have gone to many places in chicago for my facials, nails, waxing, massages - but this was quite possibly the best experience I have had.

Every employee I came into contact with was very friendly, but it isn't too stuffy, which I like. The spa is huge and so beautiful.

Jessica did an amazing job for my waxing and facial - the FASTEST brazilian wax I have ever had. My skin looked great and it was all well priced.

Justina did my nails and she is so sweet and nice, not to mention a great job on my hands and feet!

I also got a massage with Cyril - who is unbelievable. The best massage I have had in a very long time.

I will definitely be back here. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Elegance, luxury and unparalleled talent!

You won't find anything like Johnathan Breitung's salon, or anyone as talented as he is! I have been dedicated to Johnathan for more than a decade and wouldn't dream of allowing anyone else to touch my hair! Johnathan discovered a beauty in my hair that I never knew was there. Whether I come in needing a change or simply wanting a touch up, I always leave feeling totally refreshed and well, pretty! His cut and colors are always natural, chic, fashionable and flattering. Johnathan is an excellent listener and is able to figure out exactly what I want even if I can't find the words to express it. The spa is like walking into another world. You will feel like you have arrived in paradise. The attention to detail, design and style are sheer reflections of Johnathan's vision. He and his talented partners and team of stylists and technicians are creating a destination that ranks with the most luxurious spas across the country. Congratulations to everyone at the Salon & Spa, the long wait for the opening was well worth it!

Great customer service!

I've never seen a salon/spa of this magnitude in the Lakeview area! I went to quite a few salons in the area including downtown. I have to say, this place is at the top of the list of top notch salons! Great customer service from the entire staff! My hair hasn't looked this great in quite sometime! Patty was awesome! She did an amazing color on me and the cut is just what I wanted....fresh, fun and simply chic! I'm definitely coming back to experience the amazing spa services everyone's raving about!

Best in the city!

I've been going to Johnathan for the last 4 years and have literally followed him all over the city (okay, 3 places). He is an amazing stylist who listens to what his clients want and consistently delivers a superb haircut and color.

The Johnathan Breitung Salon & Luxury Spa is as equally amazing as Johnathan himself. The upstairs is airy, modern, with tons of natural light. The downstairs spa is cozy, warm, and inviting. The rest of the staff is also very warm, friendly and sincerely want you to have a relaxing experience. I am sure if you try it once, you will be hooked!

This salon takes the cake!

I recently moved to Wrigleyville and have been looking around for a nearby salon that can offer a great cut and great color (I'm very picky about my hair). When I walked in, the feng shui of the space was so positive and everyone seemed happy to be there and help me! Besides the modern feel, my stylist took time to listen to what I wanted done to my hair and did exactly what she intended - and I loved it! Another cool amenity I was able to experience was their Vichy shower which was a massage using high pressured showers. It felt amazing and I suggest everyone try it! Johnathan Breitung also has daycare in case you can't find a babysitter which is very convenient as well! I recommend this salon to any spa and salon goer!

Great service, great haircut!

Walking into the Johnathan Breitung Salon, the space is gorgeous. All the staff is friendly and helpful. I was offered a beverage and guided right to my chair. Patty colored my hair like it?s never been colored before. She gave me exactly the color I wanted just by my simple description and went to the extra effort to get rid of old highlights that didn?t fit in. I went in with my hair being flat and completely uncooperative most of the time. Patty gave me a haircut that I love and is easy to maintain. I have yet to visit the spa, but the space looks wonderful and I am looking forward to a future visit. For anyone that is looking for outstanding salon services, Johnathan Breitung is the place to go.

Great cuts, color and manis! Love the staff

I?ve flip flopped between stylists in Chicago for years now but after going to the new Johnathan Breitung Salon & Luxury Spa, I will never go anywhere else. I have gotten cut and color with both Samuel and Patty and I walked away extremely happy each time. I am used to going to a salon and 1. having the stylist cut my hair too short and 2. not getting the exact color I want. This was not the case at all at JB. Their skill and attention to detail blew me away.

While my color was setting I got a manicure in the spa. Gretta was amazing - I thoroughly enjoyed talking to her and walked away with my hands and nails looking and feeling great. I took a tour of the spa and couldn?t believe how huge it was! I can?t wait to try out the Vichy shower room, and while I don?t have children myself I thought the babysitting room was a fabulous idea!

JB is great. It?s a stunning new space and each and every one of the staff is friendly and welcoming while at the same time extremely experienced. I would recommend the salon and spa to anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly environment with impeccable service.
