What users are saying:
A destination-worthy, matchbook-sized Cuban eatery in the city's (unlikely) Hamlin Park neighborhood.

In Short
A bright, muraled facade greets diners who flock to this Hamlin Park hot spot for its storied Cuban cuisine. Newspaper pages and family photos from the homeland are tacked to the walls of the small, mostly carryout venture that's just a vintage barn-wood counter and a handful of stools. Omelets and guava and cheese pastries jumpstart mornings, while grumbling tummies find solace in crackly Cuban sandwiches, ropa vieja and lechon as the day wears on. Selections can be bolstered with sides like stuffed cassava and empanadas. Potent Cuban coffee and café con leche-with skim or whole milk-provide a jolt, while hot chocolate cozies things up.
Great Food, Great Personality!

We stopped in to see what the 'new place' was all about. It was fantastic! The owner's friendly personality and charm added to the already great food. The sandwiches were good, the empanadas (both veggie and beef) were great. The restaurant itself is decorated with authentic cuban ads, newspapers, and even family photos from the owners. We'll be back!
