Great Hair!

Janice does a great job everytime. I am quite picky when it comes to my do and she has never failed me. The salon is easy to get to even from the burbs. If you want the best hair cut you've ever had........GO TO PIXIE!

Perfect Cut - Consistently Great

I have only trusted a few people to cut my hair - once I find a good one I don't stop going unless one of us moves out of state! I have known Angela for over 8 years and love the consistency and quality of her cuts. And anytime it wasn't perfect (according to me) she took care of it immediately. She is one of the best and a sweetheart to boot.

Angela and Janice are quite possibly the best stylists ever! I've followed them for years. They are so good at what they do. The new salon (Pixie Salon) is absolutely gorgeous. If your looking for a new salon this is your place.

Great cut and color!

I'd been resisiting it for years, but overtime my blonde hair had gone drab and my long hair had gotten tired and stringy, so it was time for a drastic cut and hilghlights. Angela has taken great care of me for over a year now, but her move and upgrade inspired me to do the same,only with my hair. I let her have her way with my hair and it is so great. Sophisticated chin length cut with shiny sleek brightness throughout. She's the best!

The salon is so classy and cute too. Parking is a breeze.

I started going to Angela, the owner of Pixie, back in 2002 when she was working at a little salon in West Lakeview. When she decided to open her own salon a year later, I follow her there without a second thought! She just opened her newest project, Pixie, and I am happy to move with her again! Angela is professional and exceptionally talented. She gave me a cute little bob a few years ago. I would get stopped almost every day by someone asking where I got my haircut! I'm serious! The prices are very reasonable at Pixie too, always a plus! Pixie is a great space with great talent. Definitely try it out!

Great Haircut

About five years ago, I was long overdue for a haircut with a presentation for work approaching. I called the salon where my stylist worked only to find out that she was unavailable for the week. Needing the haircut, I took a chance on a stylist by the name of Angela. Of course, I was very nervous because, like most, I have trust issues when it comes to people and my hair (especially when those people are holding sharp objects). Despite my reluctance to go to this stranger, it was the best haircut that I ever received. I never went back to my old stylist and have been with Angela since.

Recently, Angela opened up Pixie, her own salon on Ashland. It is a warm and welcoming salon, but most importantly it is a place where the stylist will listen to what you want and then give it to you. If you give this salon a chance, I'm sure that you will follow in my footsteps and say goodbye to your old salon forever.

Beautiful salon, beautiful stylist

Pixie is a beautiful salon and I am so excited to follow Angela here. She is an amazing stylist and keeps herself educated on the newest techniques and products. I always feel terrific after getting my hair cut and colored with Angela. She is truly a talented stylist and I recommend her to anyone who wants to have great hair.

Great Salon!!!

Pixie is a great place to get your hair done. Service is great and you can count on liking your new " Do " for sure. The salon itself is beautifully decorated and provides you with a nice atmosphere from the moment you walk in. It is also easy to find a parking spot either on the street or in the parking lot next door. And just in case you missed your morning coffee do not dispair, they will have a cup ready for you. You will enjoy your experience in PixieSalon and I am sure you will come back for more.

Heard it Hair First

Pixe rocks. I followed Angela from Bombshell Salon. She took all the amazing aspects of Bombshell (great haircuts, amazing service, timely appointments, walk-in service available as well--so long as there's an opening) and brought them to a newly redesigned location. The place looks awesome. She'll not only give you a fantastic haircut but she's so easy/fun to talk to that it creates a very relaxing experience. Initially, I was hesitant to switch from my old-school barbershop to a salon for fear that it would get me kicked out of my fantasy football league, but now I can't go anywhere else.
