Don’t let the name throw you off. Although barbecue is the focus at this casual, homey neighborhood standby (formerly Orly’s), half of the menu is devoted to eclectic comfort food. Neighborhood regulars, invariably welcomed warmly and personally, settle into deep booths and dig into meaty plates of thick-cut spare ribs or beef brisket sandwiches, doused with a homemade honey hickory barbecue sauce. However, the wide-ranging, diner-style menu dabbles in Jewish (kosher corned beef, matzo ball soup), Italian (chicken parmigiana, vegetarian pasta) and Southern (crab cakes, blackened catfish), while the adjacent bakery churns out authentic New York-style bagels, plus cookies, cakes and muffins.

BBQ AND vegetarian options

WOW: A barbecue house where you can take your vegetarian friends and THEY will be happy! Also the semi vegetarians and health nuts have great options too--salmon with a tamarind teryaki sauce, yum and a variety of salads. Try the quacamole, it is chunky and delicious! Desserts are delicious you can afford a few extra calories. The staff is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed.

Best BBQ, Best Value

This food is delicious. I'm from the South and I know BBQ and this is definitely the best I've had outside Memphis. Not only that but they give you a huge meal, you aren't left hungry and ordering more and I'm a big guy. The staff is very attentive and at the end there's an unlimited desert buffet that really tops it all off. But what really makes this place good: The fantastic food. Let me say it again this food is phenomenal. Go eat here.
